A lot of attention is being paid to the rising tensions between Russia and the U.S. over Syria, and for good reason.
A military confrontation between the two nuclear superpowers is not just stupid and immoral but completely insane. It's like playing Russian Roulette with every chamber loaded.

Last week German newspaper Köelner Stadt-Anzeiger published an interview with Abu Al Ezz, a commander in the Nusra Front, the al-Qaeda affiliate in Syria.

According to Al Ezz, U.S. materiel has been key in turning the tide against Syrian army forces:

In an example of just how messed up our War on Some Terror strategy has become, our ability to tell friend from foe has become pretty much impossible.

Here are the lies:

1. The West has failed to intervene in Syria - and that's been the problem

2. The conflict is the fault of wicked Assad (and Russia for supporting him)

3.President Assad enjoys little support in Syria

4. Assad has made no concessions and isn't interested in peace and reconciliation

5. Syria's conflict is simply sectarian

I saw this article, "Syrian Children are Starving" which caused me to write, to tell others, "hey others, look at what's happening!"

Ya, the government and corporate media will just paint it the other way, up is down you know. They have since Obama's war on Syria began. That's our life now. We laughed, maybe never thought it would happen, then we realized we're in that book. We're extras. Did it happen while we weren't looking?

I don't want to get in the habit of making daily updates about Syria, but events are moving so fast, and they are so important, that I can't ignore them.
