I'm going to make this short because there is nothing worthy that I can add to it.
Let's start with the good news.
What is the point of war? To win.
How do you win? By killing and/or subduing your enemy.
So after 18 years of war how close to victory are we?
Al-Qaeda may have been exaggerating.
There's good news and bad news.
First the bad news. At least this would count as bad news if Americans gave a f*ck about Somalia.
The next time someone wants to "thank a vet for his service" maybe they should ask him/her how they should be thanked.
It's amazing to think that we could have killed so many people, and yet the topic was barely even mentioned in the recent elections.
It's important to recall how small of an organization al-Qaeda was in 2001.
I didn't know, and I pay attention to stuff like this.
