Hello, I hope everyone is well. I am looking forward to the mass exodus of people. They are headed to the beach and leaving the bar stools empty. The NC beaches have had a fair bit of excitement. You would think someone would connect the dots to the warmer water.
Hello, I am off to one of my favorite places and will not be around to make smart ass comments. My Sweetie and I spent our first forty odd years around Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is a wonderful mid-western city that far exceeds it's reputation. It was at the core of industrialization, then shed it's smoke stacks and revitalized as a university, medical and engineering center. Wish you were here.

I have to admit, I have been having difficulty knowing which day of the week I occupy. Leaving the work force is both liberating and disorienting.

Groupthink is a term coined by psychologist Irving Janis in 1972 to describe a process by which a group can make bad or irrational decisions. In a groupthink situation, each member of the group attempts to conform his or her opinions to what they believe to be the consensus of the group. In a general sense this seems to be a rational way to approach the situation.
