I was asking myself: "self, what is a day without sunshine like?" Answer: a day without an Awan story. There's gonna be plenty of sunshine now.

Okay, then I asked myself: "self, what is a day without news?" Answer: a day without a story of political corruption.

So, now this is going to be beautiful day. You want Awans? We got 'em. You want corrupt congress critters? You are in luck, we got a whole lot of them.

DNC lawsuit: Caveat Donator

Lots of legal issues to unpack in the dismissal order, but the crux of the judge Zloch's argument rests on a specious and wholly unsupported legal theory of consumer protection that places an unconscionable burden on political donors to prove they actually heard a politician say he or she was honest, before the donor can sue the politician for being dishonest.

A friend of mine, with a doctorate and very intelligent, was utterly surprised to learn about the DNC fraud lawsuit. She is quite knowledgeable about economics, science and 20th century world history. She also watches the TV news, winnowing her choice of viewing gradually from the usual suspects down to only Fox News. Is she reactionary? No. Is she Republican? Is she pro-Trump? No. Does she like Medusa? No.

The fraud, corruption and wasteful mismanagement is so deeply ingrained in the present capitalist system that it can make a person "insane" trying to follow up the politicians of both parties, the large corporate charities, the bankers, transnational corporations and media cronies as their corruption poisons the world.
