The CEO as Strongman rests on the absence of organized progressive forces

There is a perverse dialectic at work when the masses vote for a CEO as leader.

Over the past 50 years the nature of the employment contract experienced by most workers has shifted radically. With the intentional destruction of labor unions by the capitalist class as it outsourced manufacturing jobs, employees were faced with no mediation between themselves and the capitalist class.

The NFL Has Managed To Diminish My Favorite Pastime

(Three years ago on the eve of the Super Bowl I published this at TOP. Thought I'd re-publish here today, in light of how the cross-section of fascism includes the massive pro sports industry residing squarely at the heart of corporatism and militarism. Anti-Capitalist Meetup: Trump, Brexit and the Crisis of Liberalism

We need to understand what the liberals already know but are unwilling to admit publicly; liberalism is in a deep crisis. The liberal wing of the ruling class has caught itself on the horns of a dilemma.

On the one hand, the Liberals serve the interests of capitalism, in that sense the shift from Keynesian Liberalism to Neoliberalism comes about due to the economic crisis following the demise of Keynesianism due to stagflation in the 1970s.

The election has served its purpose and the damage is already done.

The role of elections in the system we live in is to distract people from the hard job of surviving the crushing imperialistic oligarchy that dominates everything. It is working very well one more time.

Let us start by recognizing that fascism and imperialism are the epitome of the reductionist philosophy. Break a complex whole into parts and lose the reality of the whole while being fascinated by the parts. Elections are but a part of this scheme, but a central part.
