Recently, Teodrose Fikre wrote a very interesting and insightful article about former President Barack Obama, titled, The First Bank President. Even without seeing Obama's picture at the top of the article, I knew that it was about Barack Obama.
Yes, yes, Queen Hillary was right! There indeed was a Russian bot factory affecting a major U.S. election in 2018. The outcome was a net zero because the botnet may have succeeded in getting DINO Doug Jones elected to fill the vacant Alabama Senate seat. Who did he defeat? Theocrat Roy Ten Commandments Moore. As much as I dislike the Dem establishment, I dislike Moore for his right wing theocratic politics.
Don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying that the Democratic establishment has acknowledged that it is corrupt and has decided the corruption must be expelled.
I'm saying that the Democratic establishment has acknowledged that the voters are fully aware that the party is corrupt and they now have no choice but to make modest reforms to address this public relations problem.
For two years the DNC has been doing everything it could to distract people from the most critically important element of the 2016 presidential race - the Democratic Party primaries were rigged, and it wasn't because of Russia.
So quietly, while almost no one was paying attention, the DNC finally stopped pretending that the problem wasn't real.
If the DNC can be reformed, this weekend will be the first real step in that movement.
However, articles like this do not give me hope.
In less than two weeks the DNC will meet in Chicago to vote on the reforms from the Unity Commission.
With that in mind, what does it say about the DNC's commitment to reforms when they did this just yesterday?

Yup a "near decision".
A year before the 2020 presidential campaign begins kicking into high gear, Democrats are still squabbling over what to do about superdelegates.

This will probably not surprise anyone.
The left has never been welcome in the Republican party; and since the neoliberal Clinton machine showed up, they have not been welcome in the Democratic party either. As Clinton debauched the historical, FDR/JFK/LBJ meaning of the word "liberal", the left started calling itself "progressives".
