Take the money!! -- that's the bottom line, that's always the bottom line: just take the damn money. You know it, I know it, and they know it. They're gonna' take the money, so why hesitate?

There's yet another John Podesta email out on Wikileaks that is causing a (very small) bit of a stir over at Reddit. The email talks about taking money from "persons acting as agents of foreign principals in a political or quasi-political capacity" who are registered as such under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). (Is there anything fishy about foreign governments funding a US Presidential campaign? Of course there is, cut out the carp!)

From Slate magazine*: Paul Ryan, soon to be ex-speaker of the house, gave a policy speech Oct 14, 2016 to a group of college Republicans at which he did not mention Trump by name.“If given control of Washington, if given control of Congress, it is the kind of America (read the article to find out what kind, not) she (sic) will stop at 'nothing' to have.” italics mine.

It Keeps Getting Worse: Email Shows DNC Planning to Give Federal Appointments to Big Time Donors

In what might be the most damning leaked email so far, it seems clear that top ranking members of the DNC were asking for names of big time donors who wanted to be considered for Federal appointments, all while leaving an email trail to boot.

What will this fiasco do to the final evaluations of Obama's Presidency?

It certainly can't help him. It is especially ironic because he was on track when he campaigned against Clinton.

For me it is one more reason to kick myself in the rear for having swallowed Obama's BS. He really took me in. Now that we have it all we can see how masterful he was at swindling us.

It might be that he will be remembered for Presiding over the death of his party and the total exposure of its corruption and deceit.

Now that the cesspool of corruption in the Democratic party is being laid bare daily, how can you support this? It is you who are the victims here. And yet it is you who made it all possible.

Long ago many of us saw it all too clearly. We did not chant

Hey!....Hey!....LBJ...How many kids did you kill today?

and then remain "loyal" to the system that killed all those people.

I was just checking out this piece written by a reporter named John Kass over at the Chicago Tribune.

It reads in parts almost like an open letter to the Clintonites. I highly recommend you give it a read.

Here we are folks, less than a week until the Democratic National Convention and the countdown finally begins. Cue the curtain call to political theater; we've seen this all before. So then why do I feel something is different this time? Maybe because we are hoping all of Bernie's delegates make it to the floor, crash through the veneer of bullshit, and become the voices of 12 million people who were jilted by the Democratic Party.
