Great article on Salon, just hoping the videos don't start blaring... Bill Curry just wrote a wonderful piece that kind of took me aback, and expresses very clearly many things I've been thinking and feeling about the state of affairs in the Democratic Party, as well as the media. Bernie Sanders pulled off his biggest win of the Democratic presidential race on Tuesday, defeating Hillary Clinton in the Michigan primary on a night which also confirmed strong anti-establishment support for Donald Trump in the battle for the Republican nomination.

In an industrial state hit hard by the decline of manufacturing, the Vermont senator’s consistent opposition to free trade deals appears to have been a decisive factor, but he also showed signs of weakening Clinton’s dominance among African American voters.

Hillary's Filibuster

Here's a quick diary with video, of Hillary's filibuster during the last debate. I am putting it here to counter the Clinton's never-ending narrative that Bernie is a rude, sexist guy. I have to admit, it made me laugh at first, but it quickly started pissing me off. I hope it helps in dispelling the myth, or for that matter, the smear, that the Clintonites are recently pushing. Enjoy.

I am a new member here, and I about flipped last week when I realized that the trip I'd been planning with my sister and step-mom to Arizona to scatter my dad's ashes would begin at 5am on Tuesday, March 15 ... Primary day here I Missouri! I've been looking forward to voting for Bernie for months, giving to his campaign, and here I was going to miss it.
