The workers at Kellogg's have been on strike for months. Three days ago the union and management came to an agreement.
The workers rejected it.

As Americans we are insular, and we forget that the problem isn't just the warmongers in Washington. There are governments in Eastern Europe that are at least as bad.

Do social media sites, and in our case, blogs, purposely or inadvertently brainwash its participants? Does group think affect conformity? Does pigeonholing into hive-like communities lead to a lack of social plasticity? Is social media causing an even wider political gap? Are people being lead around by their noses?

Let's take a look.

Food and Eating in France

This is the time of year when France goes into a deep slumber. This time of long sleep is punctuated by Fêtes such as Noël, Epiphany (coming of the Three Wise Men on January sixth), and lately Valentines' Day.)

But long-cooked meals and intimate gatherings are also looked forward to in these long nights.

Undead Hillary refuses to slink back into the morass she came from. ICYMI she is hosting a masterclass, "the power of resilience," where she - tearfully - reads the acceptance speech she prepared for the 2016 election. This appears to be coordinated with Huma Abedin's book where she glowingly describes "Hillaryland" as a place of caring and compassion. And, oh, she made Ben Affleck blush!

Putin explained his "red line" to Biden, and Biden turned him down.
