Joe Biden Can Walk & Chew Gum at the Same Time

Good to know, eh?  From the Twilight Zone:

In a wide-ranging ABC exclusive almost nine-minute interview, George Snuffleupagous sat down with President Joe Biden.  (video embedded)  A partial transcript of the March 16 (click for link) interview, selected quotes:

“Biden also told Stephanopoulos that he agreed Russian President Vladimir Putin was a “killer” and would “pay a price” for interfering in U.S. elections.

Putin is ‘going to pay’

The United States’ chief intelligence office on Tuesday released an unclassified report on foreign meddling in the 2020 election that concluded Russian President Vladimir Putin oversaw sweeping efforts aimed at “denigrating” President Joe Biden’s candidacy.

Biden told Stephanopoulos that he had warned Putin about a potential response during a call in late January.

He will pay a price,” Biden said. “We had a long talk, he and I, when we — I know him relatively well. And the conversation started off, I said, ‘I know you and you know me. If I establish this occurred, then be prepared.”

He did say, though, that it was possible to “walk and chew gum at the same time for places where it’s in our mutual interest to to work together.”

Things will ‘change’ with Saudi Arabia in wake of Khashoggi killing

Stephanopoulos also pressed Biden on why he had not punished Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman personally after U.S. intelligence concluded that the crown prince had approved an operation to capture or kill Saudi dissident Jamal Khashoggi. As a candidate, Biden had promised a strong response to Saudi leaders.”

“”We held accountable all the people in that organization — but not the crown prince, because we have never that I’m aware of, when we have an alliance with a country, gone to the acting head of state and punished that person and ostracized him,” Biden said.”

The ‘unclassified report’ link goes to ‘Intel report finds Russia, Iran tried to influence 2020 election; the report also found that China did not seek to interfere with the vote, March 16, abcnews.com

“”Foreign malign influence is an enduring challenge facing our country,” Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines said in a statement on Tuesday.  “These efforts by U.S. adversaries seek to exacerbate divisions and undermine confidence in our democratic institutions.”

“The intelligence community’s declassified report, which omits some details that may otherwise expose sensitive sources and methods, reflects the most comprehensive review of the government’s ongoing efforts to combat foreign meddling in U.S. elections.”

And who might Avril Haines be?  Medea Benjamin and Winograd weighed in on Dec. 29, 2020  Oh, my; what an illustrious CV she’s accrued over time!

This is an eye witness’s video of Grizzly Vladamir Putin trying to kill a Russian dissident on a Siberian street.  (h/t RT.com) Luckily, Biden and Haines were driving the green bus; whew!

The floor is yours; dunno when I might be able to read or respond to comments, but given that this actually caused me full belly-laughter dying to chortles, chuckles, then grins, I thought you might be in need of something to Tickle Your Innards. ; )

but it seems to be that dying empires are at maximum loose-cannonry. moscow is not amused and various articles at RT are reporting that moscow has recalled their US ambassador for consultations on...how to proceed.

from other articles:

However, Russian diplomats have dismissed the intelligence agencies’ verdict. In a post on its Facebook page, Moscow’s embassy in Washington said that the document “is another set of groundless accusations against our country of interfering in American internal political processes.” The officials argue that “the conclusions of the report on Russia conducting influence operations in America are confirmed solely by the confidence of the intelligence services of their self-righteousness. No facts or specific evidence of such claims were provided.”

At the same time, the envoys accuse Washington of practicing “megaphone diplomacy” in an attempt “to maintain a negative image of Russia [and] to blame external players for destabilizing the situation inside the country.”

The remarks have sparked a wave of criticism from Russian officials. The speaker of the country’s parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin, added his voice to those claiming the remarks were indicative of a diplomatic rift. The top politician argued that “this is a tantrum that comes from powerlessness. Putin is our president, attacking him is an attack on our country.”

one diplomat had noted that biden's bombast is far worse than trump's, in that he'd at least shown some respect with his thorny rhetoric.

putin's weighed in with: ‘Putin responds to Biden's insinuation that's he a ‘killer’: says US President is likely projecting, but ‘I wish him good health‘, 18 Mar, 2021, RT.com

I really begin to suspect that there are secret post-WW2, post-unification agreements of some kind that not only permanently subordinate German sovereignty to Washington and/or/via Brussels (= EU and NATO headquarters) but also gives the intelligence agencies of the WW2 Allies and of Israel control over the limits of acceptable political discourse in Germany, forever.

Stephanopoulos' questioning was emotionless. It is normal for interviews to seem that way, because they have to be edited - but is that why this interview was edited? Biden's answers were flat, as if he were reciting memorized answers, or reading, or he had no emotion. I couldn't tell why.

This is a scam of historical proportions IMO because we’re being run by an unelected cabal. Not that we haven’t before, but most presidents were able to follow along with plans. Biden? Nope.

@snoopydawg He didn't manifest dementia until he was in office, correct?

My parents still like to joke about "as I was driving down Highway 95..." whenever one or the other of them stops making sense (imagine being an extreme-OCD kid with two ADD parents!).

At least Reagan was just a live-action Howdy-Doody; I feel sorry for him. He spent his whole life a puppet of these shitstains, and in the end they tossed him and Nancy out like used tissues because it turned out the political winds of the moment outweighed any loyalty or gratitude to the vaunted Gipper (remember Ron Jr.'s impassioned pro-stem cell philippic at one of the 2004 Blue-Party rallies?). Biden, on the other hand, spent his career as one of those shitstains (or kissin'-cousin to them), and the fact that the brain behind the USAPATRIOT Act is now finally drowning in its own Evil is the only reason I'm not FAR more frightened by this junta.

As my high-school American-history teacher said (of Reagan in his case): Good. I'm glad he's suffering.

The first sign could have been 1982 - he took a long "vacation" with no public appearance and came back looking like someone who'd had a stroke. Then came his testimony at the Iran/Contra hearing, where he kept mumbling "I don't remember". Pretty sure that was well into his second term.

The entire Biden election scheme has been a sham. But how to get Trump out of the White House, with a back bench that sucks? Only Biden had the (fake) image of being presidential, but a mental capacity near zero. Could they script the whole thing? Yup! With the help of the media who hated Trump.

Now we have to deal with a fake. The question is how can he negotiate with Putin or Xi, he can't stand up to them in a mental shoot out? So this is the answer. He will destroy any chance of diplomacy by being aggressive and nasty and accusative before the meeting. Biden is doing it with Xi and President Putin. It's a two-fer. Biden appears strong and doesn't have to negotiate since there will be zero diplomatic atmosphere at that point. However this is a disaster for the world and the US to miss this opportunity.

Biden has to be retired soon. They accomplished the main goal, Trump is no longer the president. Now how do they transition, how long dare they wait, and how does the country manage with KH as president, a total novice with no international experience and another egotistical fake who could only poll to 2% among Democrats? Well, here's Mrs. Wizard's answer - select John Kerry as VP. He has the experience and gravitas, although the people really don't like him, he is way to much a privileged elitist. The image of him flying on an airplane with no face mask on is just typical of many images. He could be like W's Dick Cheney. Would they be very popular? Only amongst Democrat faithful. It's a certain rejuvenation of the Republican Party in 2022.

Zhao questioned the US’s decision to ramp up pressure on Beijing so soon before the Chinese diplomats met the new US administration for the first time. “Recently, the US has made a series of negative words and deeds related to China. This happened on the eve of the upcoming high-level strategic dialogue between China and the United States. The timing is intriguing.”

The spokesman noted that Beijing hopes the meetings in Alaska will promote “the healthy and stable development of Sino-US relations” but accepted that a single dialogue is unlikely to solve all issues between the two nations.
Zhao asserted that China would not compromise on issues related to sovereignty and security. “The determination and will to safeguard [our] core interests is unwavering,” he noted.

Nixon was actually removed by the Party Elders.

They went to him and said that for the good of the Party and the country he needed to resign. It was time. He was mentally ill, probably something like paranoid schizophrenia. Joe has organic damage, dementia. But how do they handle it with the public? Can't admit that he has been incapable since the beginning of the primaries. The would be to confess a serious crime against the nation. So … since everything is fake with this administration, "the doctors discovered a heart condition. We expect an orderly transition to a Camel Lite Administration."

And thanks for the correction to the Ms. Wizard title. We were young adults of the 1960s and 70s and protested many times in support of Peace, anti Imperialism, Racism and Liberation. Today it's Peace, anti Imperialism, Racism and Liberation and Economic Justice. Same battles, just focused also on Economic Class, which was and is one of the main drivers of predatory Capitalism, it's just far more obvious today with the immense wealth of the oligarchs and utter 40 year stagnation of the working class. The 1% and the 0.1% are the problem and we need to Caucus about that.

Just as an aside, we felt that the nation had made an irreversible turn towards sanity when the Vietnam war was over, especially because the US spectacularly lost after killing millions of human beings and losing 60,000 of our own. Ha, I should have known better. Our problems are the result of a persistent character flaw that won't resolve itself until we realize that our behaviors are dangerous and destabilizing for the world, and that we have to change. Not unexpectedly we seem to think that we need to change everyone else. That's a complete perversion of the truth. I have hopes that China and Russia will re-oreint global perception by calling out our obscene lies. I don't think that they are going to play nice anymore in hopes that the US will grant nice economic gifts. Neither nation needs our "gifts" for whatever they are worth and the ridiculous cost.

Personally, I think what's necessary goes much deeper that any consideration about Biden's condition. (In any event, there hasn't been a President with the wherewithal to contain the insanity of capitalism since Roosevelt.)

My reading of the flood of analysis and conclusions currently pouring out of the think-tank ghettos surrounding the Capitol, hints at a deeper and more profound fear gripping the Neocons by the throat:

The think-tank Neocons advising the government believe that the US is in a competitive race with China, while Russia observes from the finish line. But that race is going to conclude before they can flush Biden out of the White House (short of a sudden death). It is the Deep State Neocons that run the State Department and the military mutants occupying the Pentagon, who are aware of, and transfixed by a horrifying vision that they cannot deny.

China is going to sweep past the US with advanced AI acting as its gale-force tail wind, and a developed network of quantum computing providing China with solutions before they even ask the key questions; and securely in possession of immediate superiority in space using undetectable instantaneous communications. All of these technologies have leapfrogged in real time, out of reach of any potential development that is not already in place.

What I don't know is how willing the average Democrat, who wants a narrowing of the wealth gap, an increased minimum wage, healthcare et al want a new war, wherever that may be.

There have been signs that that war would be in Ukraine, but I don't see a direct war against Russia would be very popular. After all, people haven't forgotten that Russia has nuclear weapons, lots of them. The US would like it to be restricted to Donbass. I doubt that Ukraine's military, including all the new toys and training the US has been giving them since the coup in 2014, has the internal unity to wage a long war against anyone. Russia will have made similar aid to the Novorussians and I doubt that there are enough Nazis in their military that have the stomach to kill their neighbors.

So why would the typical Democrat on-the-street support this war?

This is Biden's, and the DNC's, problem. Just because the DNC has been feeding lots of intelligence bureaucrats into the primaries who run on typical Democratic issues, there is no groundswell of support for war.

'...who wants a narrowing of the wealth gap, an increased minimum wage, healthcare et al want a new war, wherever that may be.'

nor do i believe that the average MSM online or print media readers have any idea which plans are being hatched by this admin and the one in the UK against china, russia, and iran.

i may bring a few...soonish, but this Western Empire is not crumbling away without wars on a zillion fronts, including lies, subterfuge, and 'war by other means': illegal and killing sanctions, war crimes in themselves.

an erstwhile commenter at the Café used to wonder aloud: 'who will stop us? those who can...and must.'

@Bob In Portland

I doubt that there are enough Nazis in their military that have the stomach to kill their neighbors.

Tens of thousands of ethnic Russians have been killed by our newest terrorist group to prop up the Neo Nazis. They are doing heinous things and there have been articles written about what's happening there. No clue right now where to point you. Give me time..

But we are playing a very dangerous game in Ukraine and the seas surrounding it and Russia. We keep sailing our ships very close to Russian waters and if something happens we can only be blamed for being well the hell over there. NATO wants to put more missles in countries that Russia has said crosses a red line. Lots of other destabilizing, pushing Russia crap going on. Hard to find coverage.

Rinse and repeat on the China seas. Looks like we are pushing Taiwan to stand up to China. Yeah who wins that war? WTF?

See the PNAC statement Caitlyn includes in her article that peachcreek posted. This has been long planned. f course.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

the RT.com link, and one outtake:

“I wouldn’t put this off for too long. I want to go to the taiga [forest] on the weekend to get some rest, but we could do it tomorrow, or let’s say on Monday,” he suggested.

Betcha Putin is cracking up right now.

I do see that his stutter is making things worse for his speech, but it’s because he’s getting lost from reading the words to speaking them. I said he’d be gone by the end of July, but I doubt he will last that long. This is embarrassing for the country and half already believe that he’s not involved.

Bad dawg, snoop. I follow Kamala and every time she posts her doing Biden’s job I asked what he’s doing that keeps him so busy he can’t do the things she is. lol..I’m not blocked yet nor has the Khive come after me yet. Give em time.

I read you there, and you are one of the few who can recognize the broad range of mutations who are trying to influence the thinking and doubts of the Readers. Sun Tzu would encourage them to expose themselves. Live to fight another day.

I wonder if people got tired of tweets all the time. I usually comment on them too. I’m following some great people on Twitter. Kamala would block me, but yeah the Khive would get me banned. They are vicious.

I grabbed this for Joe, but it goes here too. Biden during the debate vs how he is today.

So many visions to psychoanalyze
Politicians screaming
Their bleeding lies
And all the natural children
Rise on a compromise

Who's that preacher
Talking up the holy way
Singing the glory of
How love fulfills
There's a man in a uniform
Says he wants to teach you to kill
