This is how it relates to Kim Man-soo, the current far right candidate for president of South Korea from the PPP conservative party. Kim Man-soo's praise for Park Chung-hee is shown in the 2nd X post above, when played (the one that looks like a cartoon).

This "prayer" for dictator Park Chung-hee was probably at an earlier time, when he visited the memorial site. His hair looks different. The former president Park Geun-hye, referenced Kim Man-soo's visit to Park Chung-hee's birthplace in the news today. That's so appropriate, dictator veneration, after an attempted coup d'etat by Yoon last December which Kim Man-soo supported.

The far right conservatives are the legacy pro-Japanese faction, just like Park Chung-hee.

Park Geun-hye visits father’s birthplace to support Kim Moon-soo ahead of election

On that day around 11 a.m., former President Park appeared at her birthplace in Sangmo-dong, Gimcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, dressed in black pants and a gray top.

He (sic) waved to hundreds of supporters holding red balloons. Supporters chanted “President Park Geun-hye” and “President Park Chung-hee.”

After paying respects at the memorial hall for former President Park Chung-hee, former President Park told reporters, “Isn’t the situation in the country difficult in many ways?” and added, “So I thought a lot about my father.”

She continued, “A few days ago, I saw candidate Kim Moon-soo visiting my father’s birthplace here in Gimhae and my mother’s birthplace in Okcheon, and I felt a strong desire to come and visit as well, so I came today. I plan to visit my mother’s birthplace in Okcheon in the afternoon.”

Former President Park Geun-hye was impeached for corruption and pardoned during her prison term by former president Moon Jae-in, in December 2021. One of her prosecutors was Yoon Seok-yeol. Yoon, as president, sought approval from Park Geun-hye's supporters. Park as president, had also unlawfully interfered in a lawsuit by private victims of Japanese slave labor during WWII. (edited error- Moon pardoned Park Geun-hye, not Yoon).

It is still not clear whether the third party conservative candidate Lee Jun-seok aka Junstone, will continue to run as a third party candidate. If he does certainly Lee Man-soo will lose the election to Lee Jae-myung. If he cuts a deal at the last minute, the race may be closer than anticipated. Junstone is the ilbe (incel) candidate favored by misogynist males in their 20s and 30s. This NY Times article which wasn't behind a paywall for some reason purported to be an analysis of sex discrimination issues affecting the election.
