otherwise known as pyrolysis

Since last week we have had 5 days of rain/showers and two cloudy days. The suburban garden is looking great and well watered. Got my water bill today and it is the lowest I've seen in years. Go figure.

Russia Sends Some Missiles of Their Own

The UK also announced they are sending similar long range missiles. Last week Denmark announced they are sending anti ship missiles. Those declarations of intent probably provided the impetuous for Russia to make a missile strike on the central rail station in Kiev and the large Ukrainian grain export facility on the Black Sea.

The Russia sanctions are almost funny. The EU's oil embargo means buying Russian oil refined in India and/or marketed through other countries. Last week I suggested we don't need grain, this week I want to explore the many ways we can work around the current system...how we make do with what we have. But what about fertilizer...we'll starve! Think about it... chemical fertilizers didn't exist until 1900 or so, and nitrogen synthesis wasn't even invented until WWII. This absurd senseless war could be an opportunity for US citizens to become self reliant.
