How has a Senator from my tiny home State even run a globally known politician close? How has he even run her close despite the DNC and the media? How has he even run her close despite the corporations money, despite the broken electoral process, despite Citizens United and contrary to the talking heads inevitable coronation monologue?

I remember the rule in grade school was to have three references. The Holy Trinity of passing English class. You had to have an introductory paragraph, three supportive paragraphs, and a conclusion paragraph. I don't have any references, Google is just a click away, kids!
I just watched two ants quickly pass each other in opposite directions (intent on wherever they were headed), wondering whether they greeted each other as they passed. As they travelled down the road of a corrugated length of decking, I wondered whether what we've lost as a culture, is the ability to both live with intention, and communicate with love along the way.
