Money?
.
What the hell is that?
Haven't seen much recently.
Assume it is still some paper
rendition of relative wealth.
Usually stamped with old dead white men
like Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson, Franklin
and Hamilton maybe. Ah well, easy out and
hard getting in. Doesn't stick around long.
Thanks for the EB's joe.

everybody loves them dead presidents...
We managed to avoid shopping
today. Let the hunt for discounts crowd have the floor.
I did read that retail sales have gone up 4%, but most purchases will be put on a credit card.
Oh, well, money is come and go, as is Black Friday.
Hope all is well with all in the community!
Thanks for the tunes, my dear friend!

evening otc...
i had to run out today a couple of times and i was gratified to see that traffic around the shopping areas was pretty sparse, which is pretty unusual on black friday around here. on the other hand, it might just mean that people were just home shopping on the internet. i guess we'll see.
have a good one!
I admit I received numerous
come ons for online discounts. Thing is, I can't book a hotel or resort now, given personal circumstances, but I will pay full price down the road to have TLOML go with me.

heh...
once you've bought something online once, it's an endless parade of discount coupons, catalogues, "special time-limited" offers and anything else they can think of. the only thing that's better about it is that most of it turns up in my email rather than my snail mail box where it either goes in the fireplace or the trash can.
That junk mail
can start a nice fire, though. Can't repurpose emails.
I rebelled from shopping by the calendar when I was a pre-teen. If I wanted to buy a friend or family member something, I just bought it, gave it, didn't wait for a calendar date. 60 years of ignoring the marketing imperatives.
Take that, Waltons! And Bezos!
