Except for those with real integrity, politicians care about one thing and one thing only - getting reelected.

I find the teachings of Stoicism a great help in strengthening my ptsd-scrambled brain.
It has been universally beneficial to regular folks for 2,500 years now.

The Democratic National Convention starts on July 24, 2016. But it's not the only convention in Philly. And it with won't be the only organization voting on a platform. Because if you want a platform for real progressives (and not the once every four year ones) to run on, you should ask the people what they want and let them vote on it.
My 96 y/o mother is on the floor, again, in her house. No one is there. She has some necklace system which she forgot. I cannot remember the name of the company. I did not arrange that. Not the first time. More like the tenth.
By now just about everyone who lingers over these pages has read (and commented on) c99p's phenomenal success and growth. It's truly an amazing thing and a most hospitable locale to read and write. Well, with growth and maturity comes responsibility. Or so I've been told. Can't lay claim to the maturity part, but I've heard it enough times to take it as a truism.
