UPDATE: Yes He Did. Bernie to nominate Hillary?

I didn't see an appropriate essay to put this in, so thought I'd just do a quick essay.

One last hurtful action in the works.

UPDATE x 2

Guess this diary was correct after all.

Vermont passed when it was their time to vote, so they could go last. After their vote, Bernie got up and moved to suspend the rules and nominate by acclamation, Hillary Clinton for President of the United States...

UPDATE: Per Leu2500 in the comments, Bernie nominating Hillary is not going to happen - per MNSBC and USA Today. I didn't know how Bernie could say no after all he has said yes to, and after saying he will do everything to get her elected. So, I'm surprised, but glad it didn't go through.

FYI:

(CNN) Representatives for Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are in discussions for the Vermont senator to formally nominate Clinton as the Democratic presidential candidate in an effort to showcase party unity after the convention roll call vote Tuesday, a senior Democratic Party source told CNN.

I looked just now on USA Today's twitter page, hoping for an update to post in the essay, but nothing. You would think since they originally posted about it, they would update.

Maybe I should just delete the essay. Not sure what to do, so am leaving it alone. Suggestions anyone?

It was a thing that was in the news and it sounds like they were trying to pressure him to do it to show "unity" but it was one bridge too far for Bernie.

Made me laugh at mental images I got.
Clinton camp may have thought Sanders nominating her would be magic bullet that would get Sanders supporters' votes. But Clinton campaign wanted to write the nominating speech. And that would be where it fell apart when Sanders refused to read their speech.
Silly of me, but made me laugh.

It's better not to watch. I was considering kitteh videos. Too much State Pride, and they all jump on the mic. Amateurs. Is it wrong to be judgemental, NY expounding now, the founding women at Seneca Falls are not dancing in the streets.

As matter of fact all that makes me so sad I could cry.

Just put this update in the essay:

Vermont passed when it was their time to vote, so they could go last. After their vote, Bernie got up and moved to suspend the rules and nominate by acclamation, Hillary Clinton for President of the United States.

Especially since Bernie's delegates are protesting in the media tent right now and they're not even getting coverage. Per TYT, a lot of delegates have been locked out by security.

By doing this, Bernie helped reinforce this sham message of unity when the party is extremely divided and a lot of people are #DemExit-ing as we speak.
