Pelosi's Impeachment: Operation "Finger Trap"

Before I sink beneath the ripples tonight, my creative juices (and digestive ones, always) were coursing through my veins. This of course bypasses the brain. But whatever.

Note: anyone expecting polite, considerate prose has exited the train at the wrong station.

Many of you are, probably correctly, assessing that my own brain left the station long ago and hasn't returned. But how can one attend to politics and realize that were are helplessly trapped in a malign shitshow. We didn't think it would turn out that way when we bought our tickets (= paying tax, excise, withholding, fees). So even though electrodes are implanted in our theater seats, into which we are safely strapped, we laugh while riddled with pain. Oh, please throw more shit my way, please!

Turn about is fair play, or so they say. In politics, there is never fair play. But, while I can, I will resort to this schadenfreude: Nervous Nancy drawn and quartered, figuratively.

This is a good four-way pull.
Right arm: pulled on by El Trumpo
Left arm: tugged by the Squad and the other RadDems
Left leg: Paul Pelosi and Ukranian armament factory entanglements
Right leg: Impeachment

Brief comment about left arm: Paul Pelosi's involvement in an Ukranian energy company, like Biden's beaming scion. This is coming out on alternative and some conservative outlets. Nervous Nancy's Ukranian arms involvement: check out George Webb's YouTube. Side note: guess who made a bundle from her share of profits stemming from the Maidan coup?

IMPEACHMENT

Quoting noted computer analyst Paul Combetta, this is truly an "oh shit". [Any who understand this reference, please contact me for your certificated Political Junkie Award, with Oak Leaf Cluster.]

Well, Nancy, this is what happens when you are in charge of two groups of children. One group is all in for the green. The other is traveling to Planet Zorch. How to placate two different clans? Actually more congress critters are at the payoff trough, but the extraterrestrials in the Space X brigade are aiming for targets which mortals have yet to discern.

Personalities aside, the impeachment finger trap is modeled after the Chinese Finger Trap:

The harder one pulls the trap off the finger, the tighter it squeezes.

Yes on Impeachment

This will unite the Dim core, which has been infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome. A rallying cry, followed by Jean d'Arc, portrayed by Nancy P., carrying the banner into battle against the determined and growing Trump following. She bravely charges forward against the slings and arrows Clan Orange continuously launch. Saint Nancy will be hallowed in the Democrat Hall of Fame, for the remaining two years of its existence. Courage charging a stronger enemy head-on, like the Light Brigade.

Any Dem who thinks that the majority wants an impeachment trial is fucking nuts. That is the type of thinking that got Killary nominated the first time. Figuratively, and perhaps literally as well, this nation will be torn asunder--whether violently or not. Who profits from civil war? Can you spell M.I.C.?

The general public, of which at least 2/3rds are not Democrats, does not want this. The blow back (to use the popular phrase) will destroy the Party, destroy as in vaporize. Nervous Saint Nancy knows this. But her base is screaming for blood.

Beware, the madness of crowds.

As of November, 2020, the Democrat party will be placed on the endangered species list. That is, if impeachment occurs.

No impeachment

In reality, this is what Nervous N. is trying to do. She, like Theresa May, mouths the words "impeach 45" as convincingly as Theresa fought for Brexit. As stated above: a real impeachment will be political suicide for the entire of Democrat party (sans Tulsi--separate essay coming). Nancy doesn't want to be the last Dem Speaker of the House. Too many perks, eh Paul?

What is on the menu in a real impeachment:

1. El Trumpo is entitled to appear in the House, or not.
2. Trump's law team is allowed to attend
3. Complainants supporting impeachment are subject to cross-=examination--under oath.
4. Evidence (remember that concept?) is required
5. All congress critters are on record for supporting impeachment or not.

This is why the kabuki "Trump impeachment inquiry". Nancy can call this farce whatever she desires but it ain't nothing other than a Schiff-Nadler vaudeville act--you know, the Long and Short comedy Act. Hint to Adam and Jerry: Vaudeville is dead.

Digression: Adam Schiff's dramatic reading to his House Unintelligence Committee did attract widespread critical attention. I don't have to remind you more than seven more times.

When be comes apparent to the Travelers to Zorch that Nancy is not playing the Squad game, they will rocket back to earth (in their non-polluting space vehicle), to remind the coach who is really in charge.

Summary:

Saint Nancy is going to earn her Canonization if she can appease the pro-Zorchians and Corprocrats thus keeping the Democratic Party alive.

After thought:

Dems, you have enraged an Orange Beast. Here's one Orange Beast to consider. You asked for it Nancy:

@mimi You know how much I value your Germano-Hawaiian cosmopolitanism. You try to fool this gator into thinking that you're losing your marbles. So, mimi, I'm on to your act. F'rinstance how come you write English far better than 83% of us Amerikans? Oh yeah, my bad. The answer is that you were not educated in our advanced schools.

@mimi
that is still only partially assembled. Thousands of pieces lie outside the borders where you also may find small sub groupings where shapes and faces have materialized. Some areas inside the borders reveal recognizable people, places and activities. It is very much a work in process, not a coherent entirety.

Those actually working on this puzzle have been working on it for several years, perhaps even decades. They sort unconnected pieces by color and shape and hold in their heads an inventory of key missing pieces needed to complete particular areas.

I look in with some regularity to see what’s new and which areas have been filled in. But I still am very far from clear about the big picture. I forget many of the things that previously were clear or at least made some sense and find I depend on having my aging memory jogged by recaps and summarizations. My limited brain box can only encompass bits and pieces. Still, it is a very compelling mosaic.

About a year ago Fiona Hill was on George’s short list as the possible author of an anonymous OpEd published in the New York Times. The author claimed to be a member of the intelligence community who worked in the White House who was revealing disturbing information about dysfunction in the Trump administration. Fiona Hill is once more a person of interest for the puzzle assemblers. Interesting.

I like big complex puzzles, even when they mostly seem impossibly complex and defy a larger coherent understanding. I am gobsmacked by just how much interconnected information George Webb manages to inventory in his brain box. I am a much dimmer bulb, but that’s ok with me. I still enjoy the exercise.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

@mimi @mimi Socratic Method focuses on issues. What are the issues?
So, the best way to interpret something, such as a video you post, is not to ask someone to interpret it for you.
Best practice is to seek assistance on those issues raised in the video you do not understand and need some clarification.
So, post the video, ask for help, but do not later complain about the help you requested because it does not resolve your issues.
Socrates was really, really all that.
One can never, ever, solve a problem that is not fully described, nor can one complain about it.

alex. and sure; the smart money's on this all because: the barr-durham investigation of the spooks. daniel lazare says it right:

The Campaign to Stop William Barr’, daniel lazare, strategic-culture.org, Oct. 5, 2019

“The furor over Donald Trump’s July 25 phone call to Volodymyr Zelensky has not been easy to figure out. Contrary to initial reports, the president said nothing about a quid pro quo, and he didn’t push the Ukrainian president to “dig up dirt” on Joe Biden either. All he did according to the official transcript was ask Kiev to look into his activities, and all Zelensky did in response was guarantee that any such investigation “will be done openly and candidly.” An honest inquiry into a politician who cheerfully confessed to forcing out a prosecutor looking into his son’s company – what’s wrong with that?

But now the mystery is solved. The uproar is not about Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani investigating the former vice president. It’s about William Barr investigating Russiagate, which is far more important.

This became clear early this week when the New York Times reported that Trump had also phoned Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and asked him to cooperate with the attorney general. Suddenly, Giuliani and Biden were forgotten as the rest of corporate media screamed themselves hoarse. “Democrats’ worst fears about William Barr are proving correct,” declared the Washington Post. “AG Bill Barr finds himself ‘neck deep’ in Trump scandal,” said MSNBC. The Daily Beast called for his impeachment while the Guardian accused him of nothing less than attempting to “rewrite the history of the 2016 US presidential election.”

This was cheeky coming from a newspaper that tried to rewrite history itself by falsely accusing imprisoned whistleblower Julian Assange of meeting with Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort in connection with stolen Democratic Party emails.

But it was all nonsense. Trump’s crimes – waging war on Yemen, blockading Iran, attempting to starve Venezuela into submission, etc. – are almost beyond enumeration. But this is not one of them. Despite the cries of outrage, he did nothing wrong in phoning up Scott Morrison, and neither did Barr in flying to London and Rome to seek their cooperation. Indeed, both men would have been remiss if they didn’t.”

but that's just me, of course. the D's learned to love 'anonymous intelligence officials' who proved their points. now it's across the aisle: both sides of course, being maroons. ; )
