My Reply to the Last Bernie Email . . .

It is one of those info addresses . . . so I don't know if anyone will see it. But here it is:

Hi! I don't know if anyone will ever see this, but . . .

I love Bernie and Jane Sanders. My teenage daughter and I heard him speak live in Grand Prairie, Texas. I trust him and understand that he has his reasons for taking recent actions.

However, I have 4 non-negotiables that prohibit me from supporting Mrs. Clinton in any shape, form, or fashion. She absolutely fails in these areas:

War-mongering (she promotes killing children all over the world)

Climate Crisis (we needed to take action yesterday - incremental change will do nothing)

Corruption (she clearly lied to congress and takes bribes through the Clinton Foundation)

Inequality (I'm not voting for a rich privileged person - they don't get it)

To follow what I heard Senator Sanders say in Grand Prairie, Texas, I have to vote for Jill Stein. There is no doubt here.

So, if I participate in this event on August 24th, is Bernie going to demand that I go against my conscience? That doesn't seem like him . . . but ????

I did send a small contribution to OurRevolution and I do not regret that one bit. Also, I am trying to do my small part in supporting good local down ballot candidates.

I just can't be any small part of something that supports Mrs. Clinton.

But I love you guys!!

Political pundits and the billionaire class are watching very closely to see what Bernie supporters do next. Some of them might be tempted to believe our political revolution is toast.

They want our extraordinary phone banking, door knocking, and grassroots organizing efforts to stop. They want us to get discouraged. They want to vanquish our movement once and for all.

We aren't going to let that happen.

That's why, on the evening of August 24, we will kick off a new organization called Our Revolution with a major live stream address where Bernie will talk about the specifics of what we can do as organizers going forward to fight for every single issue that drove this campaign. Bernie's said from the very beginning that no one person can alone accomplish what must be done to turn our country around. We all must do our part.
