Just What We Need - More Billionaires F*cking With Us

The Corporatocracy have perceived a need, the Democratic Party needs to be more centrist and billionaire friendly, apparently they are jealous of Republican billionaires having all the fun in Washington DC these days. Hillary Clinton would be their ideal candidate and like Trump only super wealthy people would be allowed in the administration, poor folks are such losers.

Our aristocracy are trying to sell us a 'new' product with the hilarious acronym of WTF, oh gosh, I laughed so hard my sides nearly split.

As the last Presidential election cycle ably demonstrated the is nothing the Democratic Party enjoys more than kicking Progressives and socialists to the curb, then the sheer joy they have in blaming us for their losses afterwards.

These billionaires seem to think that the Democratic Party has moved too far to the left; sure that is why they lost large swathes of their traditional base over the decades, too damn left. Nothing to do with supporting warmongers and billionaires tax cuts. War for oil, no problem, count us in. Privatised health care, we will protect that until the end. Banks and the mega-rich, we will bail em out when they fuck up. Too left I say.

The one thing these billionaires are correct in assuming is that the Democratic Party will welcome them in with arms and bank accounts wide open, punching any too vocal a hippy along the way. We will have an ultra modern and glossy campaign run on social media with all the 'bestest' intentions. That will negate actually talking to any of those worthless people in fly over country. If a progressive gets too bolshie? Delete their fucking account. Job done.

We already have seen what money in politics has done to once upon a time 'progressive' blogs
on a small scale with the developing internet, imagine what a serious dose of cash can do in insta-neediness of social media.

If one time anti-war 'progressive' sites can become pro-war sites when their candidate is in power. Then the same sites justify bombing when their next presidential candidate helped lead the charge is anything to go by; then an obvious billionaire takeover of Party policy is not going to be even remotely inconvenienced.

Hell, we already know money does most of the talking in the Democratic Party with the odd bone promised if not actually given. This will allow them to fit earplugs and hence be able to ignore poor folks completely.

It's good to know the billionaires care enough about us to save 'our' Party. [It ceased to be our party decades ago]

What The Fuck Next.

the middle road, the status quo of NIRP (easy credit) so it can work its magic and multiply. Uncertainty is anathema, volatility means more hedging, more work. This makes total sense to these tech moguls. You can't blame them. They are the new rich that benefitted from the current regime of money printing. In their case shares and stock options created out of nothing. The status quo has been very good to them. They see that there are problems but they don't understand what really happening. Paradigm shift. But not the techno revolution that made them rich. No something far more sinister. The dark side of credit creation and diminishing returns on complexity. They saw it unfold before their own eyes, all the money in the world could not get Hillary elected. All the money in the world won't hold the center. No we are in the widening gyre, spinning out of orbit, to the realm of ice nine, sloughing towards Bethlehem, like some rough beast, shedding his new coat of immiseration.

They see exactly what's going on, how could they not? Can all of these guys be that damned stupid or even willfully dumb? I don't think so. Its just like when I used to ask myself how the bastards who unleashed the Tea Party could not see what they were doing, they knew, they knew good and well what that does for them and as for the rest of us, we don't matter. We matter only as customers for their latest product and if we can't afford it, we can fuck off.

@dervish for supporting Obama despite the record gains made by Republicans during his tenure. After all, it couldn't be his fault, right, so it's got to be "Republican money" to blame. And Clinton? She's pulling in twice what Trump was getting, so she's inevitably going to win, right?

In a dumbed down country where money is all that counts. The Zuckerburg/Bezos troops are betting on there being enough people who think that because they have theirs they must KNOW what the country needs. Didn't work before but hey, they wrote an article about it , so we'll see if they find enough Kardashian/Clooney/Streisand donors to bring the Dims back being to even being relevant.

I have a feeling that those hateful, racist, kuckledragging working-class people who are watching the quality of their lives going to Hell while these DINOs rattle off their new mantra "Go Right Lefty" might not go for it. Again.

This aptly named WTF effort is just another in a long line of
Centrism Re-Brands.

In my Marketing lectures I remember the chicken or egg discussion. Should Marketers create
demand or just respond to it? In the case of the well paid but totally amoral Democratic Technocrats, the question answers itself. Because these are the kind of folks who deep down inside think Joe Camel was a brilliant campaign.

In their world the DLC becomes the New Democrats who become the Third Way then New Blue and now WTF. Along the way they launch complimentary brands like the New Democratic Coalition and No Labels.

I'm waiting for DLC IV, Son of Centrism, starring Cory Booker, Kamala Harris. Bernie Sanders as the villian. Hillary as the battle scarred Rocky-like figure mentoring her young proteges.

Unfortunately for them, we've caught on to their technocratic techniques and Mind Fucks. Accordingly, Floor Wax ain't tastin' so good these days.

It seems like I've been hearing since 2000 (probably earlier, if I think about it) that the Democrats are just too lefty and need to move right to win. Well, they have moved farther and farther to the right, to the point where they're starting to make Reagan look progressive, and it's accomplished nothing positive. Evidence isn't with them, but here we go again.
