Hillary Clinton’s Support Among Nonwhite Voters Has Collapsed

03/31/2016 08:40 pm ETOn February 27th, Hillary Clinton led Bernie Sanders among African-American voters by 52 points.
By March 26th, she led Sanders among African-Americans by just nine points.
And today, Public Policy Polling, a widely respected polling organization, released a poll showing that Sanders leads Clinton among African-American voters in Wisconsin by 11 points.
It’s all part of a dramatic national trend that has seen Clinton’s support among nonwhite voters dwindle to well under a third of what it was just a month ago — not nearly enough support to carry her, as it did throughout the Deep South, to future electoral victories in the Midwest and Northeast.
So no, it’s not a coincidence that, in the 18 state primary elections since March 1st, Bernie Sanders has won on Election Day in 12 of them.
(That’s right: Bernie won among live and provisional ballots in Arizona, Illinois, and Missouri.) ....

I wish this were true believe me
but the margin of error for this part of the poll is very high. The number of African Americans in the sample was too small to be meaningful. Margin of error (confidence level) for the main question does not transfer down to the internals.
I haven't got the exact numbers in front of me unfortunately which is why that was all a bit vague.
My gut feeling (worth next to nothing) is that Clinton is losing AAs but probably not to the extent shown by this poll.

That margin also means his support could be much higher

True but
the headline is:
I wanted to inject a note of caution. I am not saying that the headline is wrong just that it isn't necessarily correct.
Personally I hope AA support (and all other demographics for that matter) for Clinton has gone through the floor.

I just finished reading this
and it made me so happy I had to do a Snoopy dance...
If its becoming obvious in the polling that her support is collapsing, they've run out of ways/institutions to hide behind and pretend it isn't. Anything that breaks through the Clinton's inevitable meme is a good thing..and makes me suspect that the support for Bernie is much, much stronger than we realize.
It also explains all the election fraud going on in multiple states...
Great great news!
So happy this is being reported -at last. Cannot wait ( yet remain a little fearful) for Wisconsin and a yuge win! Or just a win. Makes me wonder if American voters are waking up from their long corporate sleep.
On other sites
I am talking about Bernie vs Hillary, and these good people in the UK and Canada as well as Australia and New Zealand I speak with are hoping Bernie over all other candidates, and they even also posted this

So long, and thanks for all the fish
PPP is Kos's favorite pollster...
Seems like reality has a Bernie bias...
Democrats, we tried to warn you. How is that guilt and shame working out?
PPP did paid polling for HRC after the early debates
...which showed that EVERYONE said she won. Looked very skewed to me then.

I think her support among whites is a bigger problem
Whites are still a majority in this country, and they generally can't stand her.
Today on FB, I ran into a group I hadn't seen before.
Grandparents for Bernie. Bout time they get some credit for looking out for their kids.

The bigger story is Hillary's support is eroding everywhere
I think Hillary is losing support across the board, which includes POC.
The votes she has gotten so far were mostly due to name recognition and the perception that she will win. Bernie is making himself known everywhere, having at least partly overcome the corporate media news blackout. Americans like his message. He made big news with overwhelming margins in western states, bursting the bubble of Hillary "inevitability."

If Bernie keeps winning states
I may not have to refuse to vote for Hillary.
Yay
Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.
That would be so great!
I have voted in every local, state and general election since the early 70s and I am very emotional that I might not get to vote in what might well be my last (crazy heart) but I see no reason to schlep to my voting place to vote for any candidate not Sanders. My senator (Chuck Schumer), is up for reelection but I hate him almost as much as I hate HRC.
PS I fully intend to live 15-20 more years but am also living every day like it could be my last, which is a huge factor in deciding to no longer vote for the lesser evil. No more compromises!
Mundus vult decipi, ergo decipiatur.
Like everyone in the know said...
...the more people see of Bernie, the more they like him, with the reverse for Hillary. The race is now in New York...the media capital of the world and the center of the universe. I've got Sanders winning Wisconsin with at the most 55% of the vote, 52% at the least. If Bernie can tie New York or outright win it, things will start looking up. But if the corporate media continues to freeze him out (like with yesterday's huge event), there will be problems.
Good news, tommymac. Why put her face big on our page?

Didn't realize it would show up on the page that way...
Have been working all day and finally got a break to check in...
Besides, I like the look of desperation in her eyes...sometimes an image speaks in ways words can't.
