On the aspect of the minority citizen-turned-raving-conservative I always wondered when seeing the plethora of American flags around town after 9/11 how many were immigrants (and especially Muslims) who felt it was a mandatory thing now in the country that one had to appear as a firm patriot in the eyes of the public.
Just this weekend I walked into a Jewish deli in the Bronx to take a look at the menu. The dark Middle Eastern guy behind the counter asked what my "Kap" hoodie meant (it's an exact replica of the NFL logo with the letters KAP instead). We got into to a little hot and heavy, to an extent that my partner was beginning to pull me out of the place. He was clearly one of those folks, "proud" to be in America, and for sure a raving authoritarian, which is the case for any RW immigrant. Spouting all kinds of typical RW nonsense about respecting the flag and leaving if you don't like it.
But the other young probably Jewish fellow asked if I had seen that Kap had appeared at a Socialist group function in NYC. No, I hadn't, I said, but thanks for telling me. When I parted company with these totally opposite political guys who had to work the rest of the day next to each other behind the counter, the socialist kid smiled at me and said, "see you later, comrade." Man, I thought, that kid is a saint to have to find a way to work with such a pathetic reactionary like that loser.

The targets over politicians' faces always concerns me. That RW extremist gun culture applied to political dissent. Ain't cool at all. The media has been saying that they were sent to People who were critical of Trump. Every article I read about this event has said this. We know that the media gets their talking points from the government and here they are following the script.
I'm surprised that this van hasn't been ticketed yet for having those screens on his driver and passenger side windows. My car had dark tinting from the manufacture and it couldn't pass safety inspection until it was removed.
