Fox Poll: Trump 45, Clinton 42

So, yea:
Trump 45, Clinton 42
Sanders 46, Trump 42

No one cares at TOS, but this is the first time a real poll (ie not one of the internet ones) shows Trump actually ahead. There are reasons to be suspicious of it (they have the electorate as GOP +1, it almost certainly will be better than Dem +4).

But this is a warning sign. Clinton's unpopularity is very real. Her numbers are declining. She dumped money into Kentucky late I suspect to avoid the perception of a double loss. She is very much a wounded candidate right now.

I think this will be blowout - Clinton by more than 10. But every Democrat should read this poll. And worry. A lot.

And ask themselves why they are not nominating the guy who is more popular.

is that they are supposed to prevent nominating someone who gets more primary votes but can't win. So much for that theory!

"Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich."--Napoleon

... that Democratic party leaders would far rather lose an election to a Republican than permit a leftist insurgent primary challenger to win. Losing to Republicans doesn't threaten their power and positions -- look at DWS for Exhibit A. But if lefties start winning primaries, they might prove popular, leading to more lefties. If that happened, most of the party power-brokers would be out on their well-padded asses. We've seen it happen over and over again -- Bill Halter, Ned Lamont, and on and on. I wondered if they would throw a presidential primary just to maintain their power. We now have our answer.

Compensated Spokes Model for Big Poor.

”The people who control institutions care first and foremost about their power within the institution rather than the power of the institution itself. Thus, they would rather the institution "fail" while they remain in power within the institution than for the institution to "succeed" if that requires them to lose power within the institution."

We've seen Brock in action, trying to take Bernie down, yet Bernie keeps winning primaries and caucuses. Despite the smearing going on, the swiftboating that started with BLM and how Bernie must be a racist (?...that's what they said) somehow there are people who say Bernie hasn't faced "the machine" and that he wouldn't be popular once that happened.

We're supposed to believe that something that is a fantasy concocted by people who oppose him is reality while reality (that he runs better than Hills vs anyone) is the fantasy.

Rasmussen Poll: Trump 41%, Clinton 39% Of course this is within the margin of error. Also too, national polls (like the ones that showed a lead for Romney in 2012) ignore the Electoral College.

"We've done the impossible, and that makes us mighty."

Several polls show a close race. Surprising. Hillary is a weak candidate.
