Afternoon folks!
Well, there's a bunch of great stuff this week. There are blues albums by Buddy Guy & Jr. Wells, The Holmes Brothers and Lightnin' Hopkins. There's some blues rock with Rory Gallagher and The Blasters - and this week there's some doo-wop with Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers. Woohoo!
Have a great weekend!
Here 'tis:
Buddy Guy & Junior Wells - Play The Blues
The Holmes Brothers - In The Spirit

Good stuff mr. joe
thanks for rounding it up!

Buddy Guy
thanks for posting these, Buddy Guy, in particular. It brings back memories of happier times, to coin a phrase. I didn't see many live concerts when I was young, but I was fortunate enough, to see Buddy Guy live at a Jacksonville Jazz Festival many years ago. It's one of my favorite memories, because my brother, who had come to visit from NYC, had the idea to go. Unfortunately, he passed away earlier this year, but I will never forget the two of us and my son, sitting right in front of Buddy Guy, I specifically recall him playing a Hendrix song and also "Damn right, I've got the] Blues."

Hi joe
At the moment I'm listening to The Teenagers 'Why do fools fall in love', such a classic.
Thanks heaps for all the great blues. I'm spreading your Blues channel.
