Just sent Bernie $50 dollars, and pledging to give more but that depends on you.

I was lazy.

Me culpa.

So, if you haven't given lately, what's your excuse?

Just do it (apologies to all those who truly cannot give, but are contributing in other ways such as phone banking and canvassing).

Ps. I will give more if I can later in the month. Lot of medical expenses since January and haven't met my deductible yet. Still, you only live once.

So, here's the deal: If ten of you make contributions today (any amount), I will find the money and contribute $50 more.

And if 20 people contribute I'll make it $75.

And if 50 people do it? A Benjamin (i.e., $100) is on its way from me to Bernie.

Ps. Anyone who wants to do make the same pledge I just did, please feel free to let people know in the comments.

over the asshole-ishness of so many so-called "liberals" who keep spreading untruths and innuendo about Bernie and his supporters, I donated separate amounts from each of my banking accounts. Nothing over $27, but it added up. I figure if the PACs can bundle donations, I will spread mine out over my personal banking accounts. (Note, my accounts are checking, savings, and two other designated "what if/CYA" accounts - but it still felt good to make multiple donations! Smile )

First of all, I'm still angry about the $2300 I sent Obama in '08. Talk about getting rooked!

Secondly, while I think Bernie is way better than any other alternative this year, he's not what I'd consider the solution.

Awhile back I made a resolution. I won't be buying any politician's/pundit's book and I won't be sending any politician any money.

Because, 4th, after Obama won his election I continued to get emails asking for money "to fight the Republicans". Hey, it's your job to fight them in Congress (with the then majority). What do you want money for? Which is when I figured out it was all a con.

I want Bernie to win. But who gets the money? Advisors? TV stations? The corporations that own the TV stations?

5th, I think it's rigged. You probably do, too, on some level.

and finally, 6th, thanks Obama, for talking of hope and then making me doubt them all, including Bernie.

But as I said, for those who feel differently, I hope your contributions make it easier for him to campaign and lead to a win.

not contributing $ to the campaign. 1) Yes, Obama conned us. 2) Bernie alone, even with all his supporters standing with him, is not necessarily the solution, 3) Obama is a crook who stole our hopes and dreams, 4) Obama never gave a shit about us, 5) until things flip toward the 99% the rich will continue to get richer, 6) its always been rigged (but sometimes it gets exposed and people rise up and demand accountability), 6) where we differ - one of the reasons I contribute to this campaign (the only one I've ever contributed to and do so on a very limited budget) is to help get that message out there, and I don't think enough people have heard it yet.

night. Driving home, I heard that donations were way down so I went straight to the Sanders site as soon as I got home and donated the max that I could afford. I still give my automatic donation each month and will keep that going until Bernie doesn't need it anymore.

Hope everyone who can will donate. The best thing to do when they tell lies about Bernie and his supporters is to donate. The more lies, the more donations!!!

It wasn't much because I'm almost maxxed out and want to donate for Bernie & Jane's anniversary on May 28th! $28 on the 28th! Want to max out before CA.

Thanks for this, it's a great idea, we all need to do everything we can to help Bernie win. This is historic, a once in a lifetime chance for all of us and our planet, and I want to be a part of it!
