It doesn't even make sense. They have more vitriol towards Bernie and his supporters than towards the worst of the republicans. They act like Hillary is their personal goddess - we can't even question her actions. They insult us constantly - we're stupid, we're lazy, we're sexist, we're whiners, we're racist, we condone violence, we're like the Tea Party, we're sore losers, we're conspiracy nuts, etc., etc. It's depressing. They act like schoolyard bullies.

The only reason Kos and TOP are relevant is because people continue to give clicks to his stupid propagandistic site. Who cares what that asshole thinks or what he has to say? I know it's difficult to stop going there and sever ties completely, but I'd say that he's set his own house on fire and you have two choices: either leave and build something better or stay with him and go down in flames together.

Personally, I have absolutely no loyalty to that place (or to the Democratic Party, for that matter). I was always just an occasional lurker, so it's been incredibly easy for me to move on (like I did when everyone started defending Obama's backstabbing as 11th dimensional chess in 2009), but even the most die-hard members have to realize that TOP has become so toxic that it's unsalvageable at this point. Besides, given what's happened since March 15, even if it could be redeemed, why would you possibly want to save it, given the delusional and authoritarian nature of its "owner," the ideological disposition of its front pagers, and the way that it's turned into a fantasy-driven echo chamber? It always bothered me that TOP was more about party loyalty than dedication to the truth, liberal principles, and accountability, and now we see exactly where that has led us.

Instead of focusing on the dkos's 2 minutes of daily hate and the duplicity of Markos and co. why not look at this as a unraveling of the 'inevitable' powers that be. Right before our lying eyes we are seeing whats behind the curtain. The Third Way ran out of pockets full of hope to blind us and now are showing us what they are. Put your energy and faith in the process of building real democracy.

It's hard to realize that for years or decades you have supported a fictitious farce of democratic partisan politics and process. I won't go there and read it, but nothing surprises me any more. The Hillary campaign is a do-anything, say-anything grab for power. Hillary in the White House would be a defeat for ordinary Americans. And Kos is OK with that, even though we already saw how disappointing the Obama administration has been.

They can't MAKE Bernie Sanders get out of the race, unless they physically do so (need I even say "and if even ONE HAIR on the man's head is harmed...") I don't believe they have The Law on their side, either. Near as I can tell, they only have "If He Quits" or gets thrown off his game of winning primaries. The party can't sue him for any of this, so....what else do they have as a weapon? You know what made me feel a whole lot better? I love how all I see of Sanders in the last 72 hours is Mr. Unflappable Mensch. How he's doubling down on the laser focus of campaign mode and What's Really Important, and virtually ignoring all these noisy trolls. All this assholery does not appear to be deterring him from his core mission, IMO. LOVE it.

I firmly believe that paid Clinton staffers mark certain handles on Kos and elsewhere and the instant that person posts anything they start raining fire. Then a corrupted Kos takes a flag from a paid Clinton supporter and poof, your comments are gone.
