I seriously can't believe that Trump is being nicer to Bernie and those of us that support him than Hillary is. What kind of topsy turvy Bizarro world is this? Sure, he would love Bernie to run as an independent if he's the nominee because it splits the Democratic electorate, but at this point, I honestly feel comfortable enough voting for Jill Stein and letting Trump destroy Hillary in November, especially after the coordinated attacks against pro-Bernie Facebook groups last night.

Hillary is still going to lose. I don't think the DNC fully appreciates how much people hate her.

Harford Co. is the lowest percentage reported and she's winning that.

Was honestly not expecting a single win so even one still doesn't feel too terrible.

Thanks for the well wishes also!

But barring a Clinton Indictment this may very well be the night that the Democrats guaranteed a Republican White House.

that federal employees were responsible for voting him in--unless there's an exit poll to that effect.

I say that, because as a federal retiree, I can vouch for the fact that some of us would never consider voting for Van Hollen, since he is/was one of the major cheerleaders for the Fiscal Commission's proposal (Bowles-Simpson).

It's a sad day when a Van Hollen can defeat Donna Edwards.

*Sigh*

Everyone thinks they have the best dog, and none of them are wrong.

Dhyerwolf's picture

Considering how we have been hammered over the head that Bernie is supposed to be racist and sexist, it's funny that in a state that Hillary won so heavily, the more liberal, black, female candidate lost to a the white male from a political dynasty. Goes to show, it was probably always about centrism and who holds the most establishment power in both races.

They've been blaming everybody but themselves and their own smelly asses for decades now. I do not give a damn what they do, and I'll bet that deep down inside, Bernie Sanders doesn't, either.

This isn't about liberal, black and female dignity and empowerment, as Hillary's handlers/marketers/public relations team would like the gullible public to believe. They've carefully crafted an image, a brand (to use the latest corporate vernacular) to sell a still-stuck in the mainstream American world of consumerism, rampant individualism and chasing the purposely elusive American Dream™.

This is about a naked and ferocious power grab.

It was never about Progressive values or vision.

Recently Donna Edwards was on the cover of the Nation, who have only two other times in their 150 year history were one of the few publications to endorse Bernie. They reported that even the Congressional Black Caucus PAC did not endorse her, even though she bizarrely supported Hillary, saying women are the ultimate "outsiders."

Geez, The United States - not only a hard nut hard to crack, it's like cracking a whole yuuuge tree of hard nuts.
I am dreaming of being a nutcracker. May be then I just could dream of something beautiful like this:

Ok the music wasn't what I needed right now. So I redacted it.

New London and Middletown went for Bernie giving that midway boost...
Then Bridgeport, Hartford and Waterbury came in for Hillary... it was over...
Stamford, Bridgeport and Norwalk were pretty much guaranteed to go for Hillary...
The good ol Fairfield County Gold Coast section of New York... Oops I mean Connecticut...
