Album of the Week 8-29-26
Afternoon folks!
We've got a heaping helping of blues for you this week, starting off with a great album from Piano Red as Dr. Feelgood with the Interns. After that it's some harmonica fun from Charlie Musselwhite and then some soul-blues from Johnny Rawls and Otis Clay performing a tribute album of O.V. Wright tunes. Then it's on to an early Bo Diddley album followed by a folk-blues revival era album from blues piano player and guitarist Henry Townsend with Backwards Sam Firk. We finish up with a live ep from Richard Thompson.

came up a little while ago in the book I'm reading.
This gal got a song stuck in her head while going out on
a mountain trail. 1952 Vincent Black Lightning I think it was.
Perhaps just a coincident, but it seems interrelated somehow.
