There has been a steady drumbeat of palaver from The Trump Regime about how Trump has stomped the shit out of Iran, past tense; and, alternately, how much more ferocious the next wave of shit stomping will be. As always, Trump contradicts himself over and over again as he alternately threatens effective genocide and bold predictions of a deal that Iran is begging for.
After significant soul searching about my own refusal to vote for Hillary, Sleepy Joe or Kamala Harris, I have decided not to worry about it. Trump 2.0 is a quantum jump worse than his first try at destroying the America I grew up in. But I saw recently a snippet from Harris in debate with the Orange Fart Cloud in which she rebuked him for not being tough enough on Iran.
Trump, the individual, is batshit crazy. But the Federal Government remains a tool of Big Money.
Who cares whether I vote? It is the same corporate machine maximizing profit whether POTUS is a flakey woman like Harris or a senile jerkoff like Trump.
But enough about me and my angst.
It is both nauseating and frightening to hear Trump threatening war crimes alternately with claims of diplomatic triumph.
Trump is doing his wrestling persona and the rest of the world is catching on to the madness of King Shrimpfingers.
In the alternative universe of pro wrestling, the fighting is filler between the bragging and threatening which is the show.
Doesn’t that sound like the last four months of world history?

What worries me now is how many of the Dems are saying that we should quit fucking with Iran and get serious about helping Ukraine take down Putin.
But they are gutless and the demented Trump really wants to drop bombs on people.
Bernie's new rap reminds me of him when I was a supporter of his Presidential campaign of 2016.
We need clarity after the chaos of Trump. Sanders is by nature a nice person -- I still don't appreciate how he caved in after getting hosed by his party 10 years ago. But kinda good beats fascism every time.

The Dems' paymasters are demanding it
They want a return to the days when Russia was helpless against both Western and native vultures, and could be looted at will.
They also want the US to be the country that does all the looting, no rivals allowed.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
Unfortunately, there is
only one country left with enough remaining unlooted assets to be worth looting, and whose people will clearly not fight back- and that is the United States itself.
Bummer. But so it goes: We Are The Best And Most Exceptional At Looting, after all, and it’s not like Our Betters will suddenly have a change of heart and decide to stop, amirite? Won’t be long before we will no longer have priority access to e.g. power and water, which they must urgently sieze to Save For More Important Uses.
And if they were capable of self-awareness, they might wonder why folks like me will not vote for them any more. But that sort of introspection will always elude any true, dyed-in-the-wool sociopath.
Regardless of the obvious fact that it will not make a damned bit of difference, I withdraw my previously-assumed tacit consent to an involuntary role as a willing, mewling, bleating coppertop.

But speaking of Bernie; The NYT used his ties to Platner to run a hit piece on him today. All old stuff but but they couldn't miss an opportunity to take a shot at the left. Brought out the Bernie Bro bullshit of course, and Warren's claim about her supposed conversation with Bernie and the question about can a women win the presidency or whatever the frick it was, all bullshit and even if not wouldn't amount to squat anyway.

Hi burnt out
My guess is that it is the fire that burns inside Bernie against injustice, that feeds his energy. I can imagine that to retain a platform to fight from he had to compromise himself in many ways. I have never held that against him, especially considering the odds. He does what he can, unlike so many others.

Agreed about Bernie
As soon as I get to be a serious candidate for the Democratic nomination for POTUS, I will feel justified in venting my disappointment in his collapses in 2016 and 2020.

Another Bernie Note
I was really disappointed by his wimping out on his project of redeeming the Democratic Party. But I fantasized about his Brooklyn accent in the presidential debate with Trump:
"Donald, with all due respect, that Alec Baldwin fellow on Saturday Night Live, does a better you than you."
