While that is all fine and good, the news of the wars of the world can't be ignored.

The good news is we are almost up to freezing today! With the thaw trending thru the week.
Too much arctic temps for too long for my fancy. Chilling effects and rapid wood use.

What we are doing in Cuba is inhumane. Communists who pose no threat to us whatsoever must convert to capitalism or starve to death because...why? The more we try to isolate them from China and Russia, the closer they all become. China and Russia look like heroes in my pov.
All the while, we are the closest of allies to certain ME countries who rule by head chopping. Oh, and genocide.
One of my friends takes his wife for a Mardi Gras holiday in New Orleans every year. I should have gone years ago. NO has become notorious for petty crimes, such as stealing hand bags, breaking into parked cars, etc...I am too old for a street fight now.

Good morning...
We're due a rain tonight, but not as much as was first predicted. Now it is less than an inch, and we need it. This is normally our rainy time of year. At least we're expecting warm weather next week..70's for highs.
I'm cooking a salmon filet for dinner (one of the better half's faves) with slaw, sweet potato, and avocado for sides. Might even bake a coconut cake, if time allows, to go with some delicious organic blackberries I bought this morning at trade day.
I thought the interview with Alastair was interesting tying the Rothschild's, Blackrock, and the MIC to the continuation of the Ukraine war. The more I learn about Epstein, the more convinced I am he was a Rothschild spy (they've had them for 200 years)). Boy, did B(l)ondi blow it in her congressional hearing, but Trumpolinni thought it was GREAT!

We haven't had a lot of rain here, but this afternoon will make up for it. We have severe t-storms, possible tornadoes in the afternoon forecast. That means power outage is likely.
I need to go to the store for a couple of items and will do it this morning. Meanwhile, most Google News headlines are focused on the Guthrie kidnapping. A conspiracy theorist might get the idea that MSM is hard at work distracting us from something...
Imagine that.
If I find anything that is actually important news, I will post it. I have to get past the algorithms first.

At the moment, the skies are hazy gray, a gentle breeze, but it can change with a flash of lightning.
My cooking style has completely changed from 30 years ago. I used to cook all these elaborate recipes that might take a day or more to prepare. Now, I keep it simple. We do a fairly good job of maintaining a healthy diet, although we occasionally let our guard down and eat pure junk food.
Bondi was on Epstein's legal team and did her part to obtain a sweetheart deal for him. Did Trump hand pick her to be the AG out of the blue? Right at the peak demand to release the Epstein Files? Quite a coincidence, methinks.
Unlike us, you are surrounded by quality restaurants, so you and your hubby could step out for a Valentine's Day dinner. We are 40 to 50 miles away from one.
