The Weekly Watch
Mafia Methods, Mentality, and Morality
in a
CIA Controlled Country

It's gangster nation as we threaten seizures of countries like Greenland, Columbia, Cuba, and so on...as we dictate with whom other countries are allowed to trade or associate...as we threaten the conquest of Iran...as we steal tankers in international waters...and sanction and tariff much of the world. Not to mention the gangsterism here at home, using ICE to kill or imprison anyone that doesn't submit, and targeting anyone who speaks out for Palestine. These are dark times at the end of empire. We're watching the collapse of dollar dominance, and the slow, slow, then sudden crash of our economy. We have a $7 trillion interest payment due just before midterms, and no one wants to buy US bonds. Folks, this country is going down the tubes, and quite frankly, given our behavior, it is for the best. However, to paraphrase Larry Wilkerson, "a dying elephant can do a good deal of damage thrashing around in death pangs".

I think "the Don" is merely a puppet who enjoys bullying, and is a master of reality TV. It is my opinion, the CIA/FBI/NSA have long been the real government in the shadows funding itself with arms trade, drug pushing, human trafficking, blackmail, and more. The organization is literally outside the law. It is a gangster organization and as a result we are a gangster nation.
What law, I ask. Is there any? We no longer adhere to the constitution, nor the international order we created when we drafted the UN Charter. They no longer apply if the law impedes our gangster goals.
The CIA, FBI, and NSA haven't been investigated since the Church and Pike committees in the 70's. They revealed cointelpro:
One significant revelation was the FBI’s Counterintelligence Program (COINTELPRO), which involved the surveillance, infiltration, and disruption of political groups, including civil rights organizations and anti-war movements. The FBI employed tactics designed to create internal conflict within these groups, frequently violating First Amendment rights to free speech and assembly.
and more...
The Committee also detailed Operation HTLINGUAL, an extensive CIA and FBI mail opening operation that ran from the 1950s to 1973. This program involved the interception, opening, and photographing of over 215,000 pieces of mail, primarily correspondence between the United States and the Soviet Union. The committee also exposed Project MKULTRA, a mind-control research program involving the surreptitious administration of drugs, such as LSD, to unknowing U.S. citizens for human experimentation.
and more...
The most sensational finding involved the CIA’s participation in assassination plots targeting foreign leaders, including Cuba’s Fidel Castro and the Congo’s Patrice Lumumba. The report concluded that these actions served as a major impetus for the subsequent, concrete prohibition on political assassinations by U.S. intelligence agencies.
The Pike committee had a different approach...
The House investigation focused less on the illegalities of the past and more on the intelligence community’s operational effectiveness and budget oversight. The Pike Committee’s findings highlighted significant intelligence failures where the agencies possessed information but failed to synthesize or communicate it effectively to policymakers. The committee found that the intelligence community often failed to predict or inform the executive branch about significant global events.
The investigation also scrutinized the intelligence budget, finding evidence of waste and a general lack of financial accountability, as the budget was largely hidden from Congressional view. The committee concluded that existing oversight mechanisms were inadequate to monitor the vast expenditures and activities of the intelligence agencies.
It was about this time we learned of Operation Mockingbird.

I agree with Tulsi, Operation Mockingbird is alive and well, and explains why the American people are so misinformed. In fact I bet cointelpro is on going as well. The fact is these three letter agencies have not been investigated for over 50 years.
We know they are active in stirring up conflicts and chaos around the world. Trump came right out and told us the CIA was in Venezuela working to take out Maduro. Brian Berletic has a recent video with sources:
US Media Admits CIA Attacking Russia During "Peace" Talks (36 min)
While the United States government poses as “pursuing peace” with Russia regarding the ongoing war in Ukraine, it is now admitted that the US is overseeing a “supercharged” campaign targeting “Russian oil facilities and tankers” aimed at crippling Russia’s economy and its fighting capacity.
US intelligence helps Ukraine target Russian energy infrastructure, FT reports
...and it isn't just the CIA, et al but also the stink tanks like Rand...
The purpose of the project was to examine a range of possible means to extend Russia. By this, we mean nonviolent measures that could stress Russia’s military or economy or the regime’s political standing at home and abroad. The steps we posit would not have either defense or deterrence as their prime purpose, although they might contribute to both. Rather, these steps are conceived of as measures that would lead Russia to compete in domains or regions where the United States has a competitive advantage, causing Russia to overextend itself militarily or economically or causing the regime to lose domestic and/or international prestige and influence. This report deliberately covers a wide range of military, economic, and political policy options.
These projects are long term. TPTB have been after Ukraine since the end of WWII. The plan to end the Chavismo movement in Venezuela started with the beginning of the movement. And Cuba's been in our sight since it's revolution decades ago.

Behind the DOJ’s politicized indictment of Maduro: a CIA-created ‘network’ and coerced star witness
The US Department of Justice indictment of Venezuela’s kidnapped leader, Nicolas Maduro, is a political rant that relies heavily on coerced testimony from an unreliable witness. Despite DOJ edits, it could expose more Americans to the CIA’s own history of drug trafficking.

Hey don't worry, we're restrained by Trumps morality...
President Trump said his “own morality” guides his decisions on foreign intervention in an interview published Thursday, following weeks of scrutiny for U.S. strikes overseas.
“Yeah, there is one thing. My own morality. My own mind. It’s the only thing that can stop me,” Trump told the The New York Times on Wednesday night when asked if there were any limits on his international power.
“I don’t need international law,” he said. “I’m not looking to hurt people.”
His remarks follow U.S. attacks on groups in Venezuela, Yemen, Syria, Somalia, Nigeria, Iraq and Iran over the course of the first year of his second term.

Eric Li: “The West Has No Idea What’s Coming…”
(This presentation by Li has been removed from YouTube. I saw it earlier this week)
This is a summary...(9 min)
China’s rise in the global economic order is often discussed in terms of statistics and superlatives—but in this wide-ranging and provocative lecture, the speaker lays bare the ideological rift at the heart of globalization’s contradictions. While both China and the United States reaped immense wealth during the globalization boom, only one country saw that wealth uplift its broader population. China, the speaker argues, grew its GDP nearly tenfold and raised median income eightfold, all while rejecting liberal democracy and market capitalism. Meanwhile, the U.S. economy also expanded significantly, but its median incomes stagnated or declined. Where did the gains go? According to this perspective, they were captured by capital, not labor—fueling widespread disillusionment from Paris to the American heartland.
This video explores China’s alternative model: a state-driven system where political authority remains firmly above capital, in stark contrast to Western capitalist democracies. The speaker contends that China’s success stems not from conforming to the global liberal order but from rejecting it, offering a model of “globalization without globalism”—one that prizes national sovereignty, cultural integrity, and infrastructure-led development. From the Belt and Road Initiative to anti-corruption campaigns and poverty alleviation, the talk outlines how China has navigated crises that were expected to derail it and is now transitioning toward higher-value industries amid structural challenges. Meanwhile, Western nations—faced with internal discontent and elite backlash—appear to be dismantling the very global institutions they once championed.
In his speech he argues in the west, capital returns go to those holding capital, whereas in China capital returns are used to improve the life of Chinese citizens. This is a result of long term central planning which the west doesn't address.
I did find a presentation by him on Rumble.

Well there's too much going on in the world to cover in one edition of the WW. We didn't touch on the on going Gaza genocide nor the upcoming strike on Iran. The theme of CIA crime I only slightly scratched the surface. It is my hypothesis that in the same way that the elite created the Fed to enrich the banksters (excellent documentary at the link), they also created the CIA to be their undercover Mafia. Remember the elite approaching Smedley Butler to coup FDR? It is my belief these same elite made sure to get rid of Henry A Wallace as FDR's VP and install a pliable Harry Truman in order to both drop the Bomb (which was not necessary) AND to create the CIA...both of which he did. Truman later expressed his regret at creating the CIA. The next President Eisenhower warned us, and JFK threatened to bust the CIA into a thousand pieces. We all know the result of that threat (combined with his desire to require Israel to register as a foreign agency). So my tenet is that we have a shadow government answering to no one...a rogue force dragging the US into an abyss from which we may not emerge.
I want to post one more message so as not to end on such a sour note. The 2025 report from White Oak Pastures...

Hey, good morning
.
scratching the surfaces you have.
As mentioned, there are many more
in need of exposure.
This one is very bothersome to me.
It is not so broad in geopolitical scope.
But does clarify certain domestic issues.
A fellow local reactionary posted this scribe
which I will partially share here. (Wish I could embed)
It is happening here. So what are you going to do about it?
A quick survey of the developments leading to major fascist takeovers
illustrates the degree to which all the pieces are currently on the board.
-- AARON REGUNBERG
First, it’s clear that if there hadn’t been video of the execution of Renee Nicole Good, ICE would have just murdered her, lied, and moved on. This is, in fact, what is almost certainly happening all around our country. We are outraged about this particular instance of wanton violence because we saw it. We should keep in mind what this implies about everything we’re not seeing.
~
Second, if a masked thug can do this to Good—can shoot her three times in the face, and call her a “fucking bitch” as she bleeds out, and then be named a hero by Trump and his entire administration—if ICE can do that to a friendly mother in a car filled with her kids’ stuffies who told those thugs explicitly, “I’m not mad at you,” then there is nobody they can’t do this to. Every one of us is vulnerable to being murdered in cold blood, and then having the president of the United States say we were domestic terrorists who deserved to die.
~
Third, we need to be clear—and loud—right now with Democratic leaders that “we shouldn’t have a Gestapo in this country” isn’t a radical position. It is actually the only non-radical position one can have. Dismantling this unaccountable, overtly fascist domestic militia is nonnegotiable, and we need to insist on this commitment in all of our communications with every Democratic official who wants to keep their seat.
~
Fourth, particularly after this week, it is essentially impossible to deny that we have crossed the Rubicon—that “it” is, in fact, happening here. A quick survey of the developments leading to every major fascist takeover of a state in the 20th century illustrates the degree to which all the pieces are currently on the board --
~
It goes on with a checklist of indicators which describe our current conditions.
In sum --
It is up to everyday people like us to pick up the pieces and right the ship. What we are able to achieve is the full extent of what needs to get achieved. That’s a lot of responsibility. Let’s shoulder it with as much courage as we can muster.
Thanks for the watch!
Zionism is a social disease
I wish I had hopes to right the ship...
...but from my view, the institutions are broken...without a constitution no one has rights and it seems we are in a lawless state where might is right. Sadly it looks like a fascist dictatorship.
But at least we're restrained by Trump's "morality".
Thanks for the sad story of the ICE murder. Have a good Sunday! It is sunny and cool (mid 30's) after two rainy days ...and a much needed 3.25". At least the solar heat is keeping us warm here.

Zionism is a social disease
The primary problem
is that the dems don’t want to right the ship- they just want to usurp this administration’s newfound power for themselves. They just didn’t have the balls to go as far as Trump has, previously. But now that we’re here, all hell’s out for noon.
Their silence speaks volumes.
Any ship-righting that might happen will necessarily come from outside the current power structure, not from within it.

shards of their credibility in 2016, and they’ve been accelerating their slide down the chute into the dustbin of history ever since. A pox on both their houses.

Good morning, LO!
Google News is looking very excited about the prospect of us attacking Iran, killing a lot of Iranians, because Iranians are killing each other in riots and protests. 116 people, both protesters and security forces, according to reliable sources. However, the X videos of the riots look identical to those shown from riots in Berlin a few years ago. Also, the X picture of the lovely young woman with a cigarette in her mouth, holding a burning picture of the Iranian leader is from a Canadian protest in 2022. X is filled with bots.
For those who have X accounts, check out Chris Mortenson's post.
After some more coffee, I might be able to understand why the US and Israel are so upset that Iranians are killing each other when, as we all know, killing Iranians is the sole right of the US and Israel. To be even more cynical, why aren't the Good Guys glad to achieve their goal of killing Iranians and not wasting a single bullet or bomb?
Well, dear friend, after the big midnight sinus drainage choke and coughing fit of Friday night, I have no actual voice. I have a bull frog sounding croak. No scheduled court this week, so there's that. At least my throat isn't particularly sore this morning.

@Lookout I was lucky enough to
I was lucky enough to see the more-or-less original/continuous incarnation of the Grateful Dead in the summer of 1983 at the Seattle Center Coliseum. It was a trip, I was quite literally tripping hard, lol. I watched the entire band turn into skeletons with massive cobwebs growing off of the equipment and cables, haha.
We were in the first bank of bleachers on the LH side of the stadium. There was an array of about 50 speakers and horns suspended from the ceiling that was pointed directly at us from about 20 ft away. It was so incredibly loud. I could feel sound pressure pushing on my cheeks as I turned my head...
During their intermission, the crowd went underneath the bleachers and created a massive rolling drum circle, banging on all of the wood and metal supports. Waves of rhythms went round and round and back again..
I saw The Dead in 2004 at the Gorge above the Columbia river in Washington. Robert Hunter, the Allman Brothers, and Govt. Mule bands opened. I think Warren Haynes was the featured player in all of the bands that evening...
Another of the old guard is gone..
Sounds like a great concert experience...
Their concerts were quite the event. I was lucky to catch a couple, but I have friends that traveled all over during the summer following them.
Thanks for the story!

Mafioso gas accident similar to Russian cigarette carelessness
An Iranian Revolutionary Guard Colonel who had been responsible for shooting lots of protesters died "in a gas explosion" at his house. Probably the exploding gas of a 7.62 x 39 mm type. Now if the Russians and their proxy state Iran could get together and smoke cigarettes while playing with gas......
That's a pretty interesting concept. Usually to be
a proxy one has to act as a proxy, groups or armies stage coups or revolutions as a proxy for somebody else, or attack another country as a proxy for somebody else or steal something as a proxy for somebody else. But I've never heard of anybody trying to mind their won business and just be left alone ad a proxy for somebody else. it's somewhat bizarre linguistically, like "this morning John woke up as a proxy for Ralph", just doesn't make any sense.

We’re now 5 years out from the beginning of the ‘mandatory’ mRNA “vaccination” of billions of humans. At this point there are numerous large scale epidemiological studies in several countries that have ALL found strong correlations to sharp, and continuing, increases in aggressive cancers, that begins at the same time these ‘vaccines’ were rolled out. Of particular concern are significant numbers of cancers in children and young adults. who have historically been minimally affected.

My view of the volatile situations that the US is facing (and causing) — keeps changing because the "context" of these conflicts keep changing. Often the context is historical — and the US has no long-term history at all, compared to the rest of the world. So, it is had to judge just how outrageous the US is behaving. US actions may have always been outrageous by global standards. And the world has just kept their collective mouths shut. Safety-seeking countries didn't want to call attention to themselves during the past 200 years or so. This silence allowed domestic US politicians (and their fans) to develop into the Orcs and Goblins that they are today.
That makes me think it is probably very lazy to put all the blame on Donald Trump. In a way, the US government was created especially for a leader like Trump. And along the way, there were many US politicians who auditioned for the role he is currently playing. In fact, much of the brief time-span of the US has been devoted to active genocides, in one form or another. Throughout its history, there were thoughtful Americans who noticed that the US government did not really support the "People." It rarely protected the "People" and almost never considered the "People" to be the true rulers of the government. Ultimately, the only way critical thinkers could survived their own words was by becoming professional comedians. Eventually, Saturday Night Live became the true voice of the "People." A voice that comes with a laugh-track is the only voice that is safe from US government violence. I suppose Will Rogers and Mark Twain blazed that trail.
You suggested that we are alarmed about in the insane, lying, brutality of US leadership — and suggested what is driving the evil we are witnessing today — is the $7 trillion dollar interest payment that is coming due. The Orcs and Goblins who run the US are using every threat and every weapon they have in order to steal the dough they need to cover that multi-trillion-dollar payment — before the final deadline. They will bring chaos to every corner of the world, if they have to — cut climat- change programs, violate free trade, weaponize economies, topple markets, slash health and education, trample food supplies. steal global resources, seize gold, break treaties, ignore international agreements, bomb public works and infrastructure, and murder competitors, if they must. They will never, ever stop. Furthermore, they will continue to hold US elections, and call it "US Democracy." They can't lose. FA/FO.
I'm pretty sure that is the only thing that really matters to US leaders.
I can't think of a single thing that can be done domestically — to stop it.
Can't really think of any one person or group to blame, either.
Anyhow, good job, LookOut.
See you next week.
Trump is a symptom...
...of how sick our society and government have become. In town the other day I heard a couple of fellows cheering on Maduro's kidnapping. They were delighted at the idea we would steal their oil. My comment to them was, "You know Venezuela might be Spanish for Vietnam." I don't think they grasped the meaning. Such is the state of thinking (or not thinking) in America.
Thanks for the kind words and your thoughtful comment!

Simon Chun picked up on this twitter post by President Lee Jae-myung. Lee is referring to a an article dated January 7, on Daum.net, discussing the cultural and potential political significance of a jointly produced animated film that circulated worldwide.
The article notes the significant restraint exercised by Kim Jong-un during provocative actions by the Yoon Seok-yeol administration while setting the stage for martial law in the South by provoking the North with drone violations of North Korean territory among other things.

...I wonder if that's because Trump started calling people who criticize him "Antifa terrorists?" Recently I noticed that China now defines its World War II struggles — "the fight against Fascism in Asia."
I checked with an AI, looking for the moment that Fascism broke out in the US. It suggests that the US may be the original purveyor of Fascism; that the US genocides were the crucible of global Fascism. Were we too close to see this?
Things are starting to make more sense. The cognitive dissonance overwhelms logic.

Hitler rode in Fords.
Our oligarchs loved Hitler. Now, they love Trump.

Thanks for the MN update!
Glad to see some push back on our fascists activities.
