Evening joe and bluesters
I’m enjoying your Christmas list, joe. It brings back both partly familiar, and wholly familiar music. In some ways it seems to represent the cusp of our generation, likely having heard some on the radio my parents played, and after I got my first radio and record player. I think I got them when I was around 10-11. The record player was in a box that played 45s. I bet your memory of listening to your first radio and records are crystal clear. I appreciate your contribution here to the whole, i’s almost holy ; ).
Merry Christmas joe and all!

i'm glad you're enjoying the tunes! i got my first radio when i was 5 as a birthday present (it was a clock radio that i was supposed to use to get up for school). i listened to it pretty much every night when i could pull in stations from far away places. it may be responsible for my becoming a record junkie.
have a great holiday!
