Hmmmm, Knew It...
Sometimes, things are just like I figured, even if I don't really want them to be.
A couple of weeks ago I happened across a news story on Common Dreams about Trump and his case against former FBI directory James Comey. Now, I'm not a fan or supporter of Comey's in any way, and yea, he probably did make some false statements. Who in government doesn't do that? But, I saw the title and the main picture of this story and suddenly understood exactly how this attorney got appointed.
Here's the pic:
Trump 'hand picked' and appointed this lawyer, this very nice looking young woman (Lindsey Halligan), as an interim attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. And this is ok, I guess, but she has no experience at all as a prosecuting attorney, she was an insurance lawyer. And Trump knew her from the past, because she had competed in one of his beauty pageants! And Trump fired the attorney who held the position before her and wouldn't bring the case to court, because the charges against Comey lacked evidence!
I think this little story shows exactly why I turn my head away from paying much attention to the news now, from any angle and any side. Why couldn't people see this about Trump (or any of the other ding-dongs in power) before? It was frapping obvious when he was doing that wrestling crap... sheez.
Alright, enough of that. Here's a fun holiday song to start the season off with: I think I'm more of a SnowMiser than a HeatMiser, but I like them both!

Almost Friday and the weekend! Hope every one is doing well. I'm going to be spending part of Friday and Saturday watching concerts on nugs.net by the Mavericks, or, most of the Mavericks. We've followed the Mavericks a bit on this site, Otc and JtC even posted some concerts they'd been to (those were great!). Well, the band is most likely retiring this weekend, and I thought I'd watch their last concerts on nugs. This is a concert, over two nights, to honor the Maverick's lead singer, Raul Malo. He's quite sick with cancer, at 'only' 60. Very sad, very sad.
I'll enjoy the good music, the memories and hope for the best for Raul and everyone else! Have a great Thursday and weekend, y'all!

Trying to get it together, as usual. Sub forty mornings lately aren't helping, my hands seriously rebel at those kinds of temperatures and I really get fed up with the' gloves on', 'gloves off' routine each time I go in and out, which is generlly often, especially in the early part of the morning.
Sad to hear about the Mavericks, good that you can catch the sign off.
Not much apolitical happening of wide interest and the political shit is all batshit, so wehre does that leave us? Football? Futball? Roundball? Actually I could really go for some Jai Alai, not so much for the desportes but for the locale, ready ready for Mazatlan, but not making that run this year (Wah!)
Gertting organized s a real PITA and time waster, but staying disorganied is as bad or sorse, meanwhile I cannot find my Jerry Garcia xmas tree ornament (also Wah!). One of the neighborhood strays is beginning to adopt our back yard despite the menagerie that haunts it nightly after dark. Not sure where it hangs between sundown and sunrise.
Ah well, stuff to do, so off I go.

I think that
Trump really believes that he can dominate women more easily than men, especially those that are both a) attractive and b) "owe him something" (like being elevated to lucrative, highly visible stations far beyond their training or experience, perhaps). I'm sure that his cabinet meetings are replete with lots of pussy-grabbing.
He also likes his eye-candy just for its own sweet sake, so there is also the thought that he likes to appoint people that he somehow believes (in his little black heart-of-hearts) that he can lure into bed, should the mood strike him. And that certainly explains Rubio and Hegseth. The jury's out on RFKjr, but I'm sure that Trump Has A Plan, should his wandering eye wander in that particular direction.
