Perhaps we've always been in a post truth era, but what brought the idea to mind is the spin on Israel's Iran attack as a "pre-emptive strike". The real headline should be, "Israel Starts Another Illegal War", but the Zionist control our media and our politicians. Meanwhile we have protests/riots around the country. Does this remind anyone else of the BLM events? At the same time Ukraine is on its last leg militarily with almost no reporting on the coming disaster there.

The fourth point is correct...

June turned out to be Iran’s Pearl Harbor. Iran will now react as we did in 1942 when we were caught napping.
What was limited to the region between Israel and Iran will now become regional.
Trump’s statements after the fact are an admission of his own level of complicity in the attacks.
The ”talks” with Iran were a ruse. Witkoff, like most of the Trump Administration was an agent of Israel and Netanyahu.
This is the beginning of a regional war that will involve The United States, Russia, as well as the whole Islamic World.
As Dan McAdams of the Ron Paul Institute pointed out this morning, the similarities between the Israeli use of drones inside Iran with the Ukrainian Spider Web Attack inside Russia are striking.
Finally, Americans should now expect terrorist attacks on soft targets inside the USA.
Soft targets include at a minimum nuclear reactors, military installations, power grids, and shopping malls.

I have a big problem with the final paragraph of Col. MacGregor’s statement. Iran will NOT attack mainland USA. It’s still up in the air whether they’ll even attack US bases in western Asia. What we may see are false flag terrorism in America which will be blamed on Iran.
The point of this is not to draw America into the war. The US is already in the war and it’s only a question of time before they directly attack Iran. The point of such false flags will be to justify America using nukes on Iran. This is the only way America can destroy Iran.

“Our absolute, foremost priority is the protection of U.S. citizens, personnel and forces in the region,” he said.
He further said that the U.S. will continue to seek a diplomatic resolution that ensures Iran will never acquire a nuclear weapon or pose a threat to instability in the Middle East.
“Iran’s leadership will be wise to negotiate at this time,” he said.

We know the nuclear weapon threat is BS, and used as an excuse for US/Israeli aggression.

I have previously detailed the current IAEA operation to blame Iran over some alleged nuclear contamination which were found more than two decades ago.
During the build-up to the 2003 war on Iraq there was another lie that famously used to 'justify' the attack.
It was alleged that Iraq's leader Saddam Hussein was in cahoots with al-Qaeda, a terrorist group that had been created by the U.S. in Pakistan to fight against the Soviet supported government of Afghanistan.
Al-Qaeda was alleged to have committed attacks in the U.S. on 9/11 2001. Associating Iraq, which had fought against al-Qaeda inspired groups, with al-Qaeda itself was the second most cited lie used to justify the U.S. war on Iraq.
It is no wonder than that a similar narrative is now suddenly being build with regards to Iran.

We Are, Of Course, Being Lied To About Iran
The most immediately obvious of these is the Netanyahu-promoted narrative that Israel initiated this conflict because Iran was on the brink of developing a nuclear weapon. With absolutely no self-consciousness or sense of irony, the Israeli prime minister followed the attacks with a statement accusing Iran of “genocidal rhetoric” which it has backed up “with a program to develop nuclear weapons.” Israel, as we all know, has an unacknowledged nuclear arsenal, and its leaders are presently committing genocide in Gaza while spouting genocidal rhetoric.
“And if not stopped, Iran could produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time,” Netanyahu claimed. “It could be a year. It could be within a few months — less than a year. This is a clear and present danger to Israel’s very survival.”

All the so called talks were acts to lure Iran into complacency

This looks like WWIII to me. I don't see an end point to this war. As many analysts have said, Trump destroyed his presidency with this conflict. The majority of Americans don't want anything to do with an Israel Iran war. Trump has revealed himself as a con man who can't be trusted... running a shill show pretending to be working on a deal with Iran while planning to bomb them. All pretense of the "peace president" are now gone for good.

As many suggested above, this is really a war against BRICS. In our arrogance we don't want cooperative projects like the "belt and road" or the "North-South corridor" to succeed and are doing our best to undermine them. The US is simply destructive...trying to destroy the constructive projects of the Global South. It is shameful and a sad strategy for our nation. To bad we can't create projects like theirs in our country, but no our resources are for destruction.

Perhaps our economy will collapse requiring us to stop all our global trouble making and meddling. That's the only escape hatch I see on the horizon, and if it happens it won't be pleasant.
