Bernie's Magic Carpet Ride T-7: NY Polling Trend Lines

Heh, heh, notice the little uptick? That's the Loosen Seatbelt sign on the carpet after the turbulence passed :=) I'm in a bind for time today, so no digging into the numbers until tomorrow.

Best wishes to all Verizon workers on strike. Solidarity Forever. Thank you, Bernie sanders, for going on the picket line with them.

We are closing fast. All the polls that I have researched their demographics do not match the New York make up.

By the way, no word of Bernie going on the picket line with the Verizon workers. Once again shame on the media for not reporting news.

Was Hillary out there with them- no, because that would be against her best interest- she would not want to bite the hand that feeds you (Corporate America).

with her best friends - the big donors. She can't be bothered with picket lines - so classless.

Some union bosses are with Hillary, and endorsed her without consulting their membership. Unions that polled the rank and file endorsed Bernie.

...AP had a story up about:

A Google search shows that many other news outlets across the country have picked up the story:

Somebody I know said Bernie made a rare mis-step last Wednesday when he said Hillary wasn't qualified to be President, then had to walk it back. I actually agree with what he said in context, but the way it was reported might have hurt him. Could account for the dip in the polls. Or it might be a statistical glitch...

Hopefully Bernie learned from the experience. Hillary's campaign baited him into a tit-for-tat exchange, then immediately claimed victim status when he said something sharply critical of their candidate.

...and based on the metrics the Clinton Campaign is using to claim that Secretary Clinton is "the most qualified presidential candidate in the history of forever" Dick Cheney would be even more qualified...

Bernie made a valid point, which is that certain actions are so unacceptable they ought to disqualify a presidential candidate:

"When you voted for the war in Iraq, the most disastrous foreign policy blunder in the history of America, you might want to question your qualifications. When you voted for trade agreements that cost millions of Americans decent paying jobs, and the American people might want to wonder about your qualifications. When you're spending an enormous amount of time raising money for your super PAC from some of the wealthiest people in this country, and from some of the most outrageous special interests ... Are you qualified to be president of the United States when you're raising millions of dollars from Wall Street whose greed and recklessness helped destroy our economy?"

It's nothing more or less than he's been saying all along, but the media claimed it was an "absurd" statement even though it's the truth.

saddened when he walked it back. It's the dog-honest truth and if we doesn't say it, who will?

I'm pretty sure this trend will continue.

even in the time of the Roosevelts, corruption and dirty games were common, this swapping people's designation from Democrat to Independent behind their backs to thwart a fair primary is no surprise.
