If Israel is found guilty of genocide by the ICJ, it would implicate the US as it’s providing weapons and political cover for Israel’s operations in Gaza with no conditions or red lines. The US has also justified Israel’s attacks on civilian areas and has shrugged off the massive civilian casualty rate as the price of the operation.

The case against Israel could take years, but South Africa is asking the ICJ to immediately declare Israel is committing acts that could be considered genocidal and issue an interim order to halt its military operations, according to Haaretz. Hearings on the interim order are scheduled for January 11 and 12, and Israel is preparing to defend itself, signaling it is worried about the case.

Unlike the ICC, Israel and the U.S. are signatures.

taking it to the ICJ. Israel should be worried, as should the US.

I would imagine that when power shifts globally in the future, and I believe it will, there'll be a lot of nervous nellies, especially in the land of the exceptional.

You and I have had our ups and downs over the years g, but I want to thank you for hanging in there with us. I appreciate it.

I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how much I appreciate this juke joint. I’m so glad you volunteered to build it and continue to maintain it with a lot of heart and dedication. I know there were moments when it was at least as challenging as raising a kid.

It’s always been a pleasure to be here. It’s a very special place, and I’m guessing it is quite exceptional in the digital sphere. It’s informative, respectful, and fun.

Whenever I hear or read the word 'curious' I think of the German word for it - 'neugierig'. The literal translation is 'greedy for the new'.

I find comfort in the open minded and hearted news, commentary and music. It remains a touchstone of stability and sanity as well as a needed reminder that I am not alone out here. So many of my "progressive" friends are lost in Putin is Hitler thinking. No matter what I offer up, it is dismissed, derisively. So thank you.
