Still think that Kennedy has a chance to beat Biden?

"Why does the Democratic Party even have voting booths?"

Bernie won Virginia and yet the delegates voted for Hillary for the win. Remember when Biden stayed in his basement for most of the primary and when he ventured out he got less than 10 people to listen to him while both Bernie and Trump had hundreds of thousands of people attend theirs?

Biden’s justice department has charged Trump with 71 felonies and one trial will start 6 months before the election. Meanwhile we’ve listened to shitlibs bitching about the FBI telling congress that they were opening an investigation into the emails that the NYC FBI found on Anthony Weirner's laptop that his wife Huma sent him. The agents said that they found lots of child sexual information on it and they were sickened by what they saw.

But Russia Russia Russia!

the Democratic party will jump through to keep Kennedy off the ballot. So far the go to response of "lets ignoring him" didn't work. That was followed by "lets smearing him" which is not working either. Thank science for the internet. Without it Kennedy wouldn't stand a chance against the MSM and DNC. I do wish he would dump the Dems and run as an Independent.

that they want. My guess is that it won't be Biden. The man is deteriorating in plain sight. He can't get better, he can't even stay the same. I'm wondering how much worse he's going to be a year from now. He probably won't die, but how much confidence will people have if they prop him up in a wheelchair like Feinstein. All the Republicans have to do is run someone like the governor of North Dakota, who nobody knows or has no baggage, that I know of.

I'm still registered Democrat. Tried to change it on-line and they told me I had to go to the courthouse. Won't be voting for Biden.

@Enchantress

We may be encountering this substitute candidate soon. Possibly a crossover from big business, state politics, or the entertainment industry. Someone loosely associated with a leftish philanthropic movement or something similar that will provide cover for sheepdogging. The Council on Foreign Relations most assuredly has a back bench of psychopaths currently being groomed for the job. If Democrats hope to win with a swapped out candidate, they cannot choose a Democratic politician at the Federal level. A candidate with winning potential needs a different, more admirable and populous background story.

But first, Biden would have to publicly change his mind about running n 2024. Because there is no way the Party would allow a Primary season to take place as long as Biden is still in the race.

I imagine the Dems are clinging to the statistical calculation that shows that Presidential incumbents generally win a second term — brain-dead or not — especially if they started a war that is still underway. Thus, if Biden is the candidate for 2024, we can be sure the US will be fighting a war with some hated enemy.

and who boy lots of the dem base is very upset about this. Manchin doesn’t have a snowballs chance of winning much of the vote and he has less of a chance than Kennedy does. I agree with you both that Biden might not be the candidate that runs and there’s no chance that democrats would pick Kamala. She’s a cross between Dan Quayle and Sarah Palin.

@Pluto's Republic of an overt senility nature by Biden might compel the party to step in and insist on a change. So it's not entirely in his hands I suspect. One more year until the party convention, things could happen. Or maybe the Hunter Biden story -- clear substantial evidence of Joe's involvement in son's overseas lucrative business ventures -- could end up crippling him, not the creeping senility.

If so, the two governors Whitmer and Newsom would be the leading party-approved contenders in a Plan B scenario. Whitmer would help Ds shore up upper MW support. I see Newsom as too elite and effete, but he is a smart, experienced pol.

But if voters show strong support for RFK Jr in the primaries, it would be exceedingly awkward for the party to turn to someone else.

The CFR would love to have one of their own lined up to step in of course, but they would settle for a soft nominee they can easily control. Soft would be just about any D out there currently, except for RFK Jr.

shouldn't be done to any living being. They haven't even gotten started yet with the smearing. They'll trot out the heroin story soon, and then go downhill from there. Won't be long until we find out about the kiddie porn or the dead hookers they will plant on his campaign bus.

And if that doesn't do the trick, they'll either have him killed, or simply just cancel the primaries outright. Or maybe both. They'll be looking to put a head on a pike at the city gates, anyway...

Since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. But not me.

Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days. After 88-days of no response and after several follow-ups by our campaign, the Biden Administration just denied our request. Secretary Mayorkas: "I have determined that Secret Service protection for Robert F Kennedy Jr is not warranted at this time."
Our campaign's request included a 67-page report from the world's leading protection firm, detailing unique and well established security and safety risks aside from commonplace death threats.

I'm sorry, but I have to do it again. What he said!

Any question about whether or not they might be thinking of having him killed just got answered, to my way of thinking. If and/or when it happens, we'll know *exactly* whose hands have the blood on them. No smiley.

Just more proof of…….in this endless fckd up country. But maybe it’s better for Kennedy to buy his own security service since the SS seemed to be in on his uncle’s assassination. Remember when one guy was staying too close to the car and he was told to fall back and then shots rang out? That was a dead giveaway that people in government were in on it. I would think there would have been some inkling that something was going to happen to him. Who said that Washington can’t hold a secret?

The SS does not provide a protection detail for candidates until 120 days before the election. So unless the other candidates that are running already have SS protection or at 120 days before the election RFK still doesn't get one I wouldn't read to much into this.

@Socialprogressive the 120 day requirement. This piece shows that there are a number of markers the SS/Homeland Security looks at before giving protection. In 2016, Trump, Bernie Sanders, BEN CARSON (!!) and Ted Cruz are listed as getting the ok. Cruz declined protection. In the 2008 cycle, Obama was given protection a year and a half before the election (May 2007). https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/presidential-candidate-secret-service-pr...

Much of this decision process seems subjective, including quantity/nature of received threats. There doesn't appear to be any strict time deadline or limit. And RFK Jr certainly would be keenly aware of this entire area, as the SS protection law was passed quickly after his father was killed. I think he's on firm ground to be appalled at Biden's decision.

care much about Kennedy's checkered youth and early adulthood as he's been quite open about his struggles with drugs and recovery. People might even be more attracted to him for those struggles in fact.

No, the DNC, MSM and CIA have plenty of other tools to use against him to prevent his getting the nom, which still looks like the most likely outcome. But this has limits, as too overt a theft by the Biden forces against Kennedy will carry a substantial political price going forward, in a win the battle/lose the war backlash way.

Meanwhile, Kennedy would be advised to avoid unnecessarily bringing up issues relating to Jews/Holocaust. It's a clear political loser.

That said, there is still plenty of time for Biden to have his own Mitch McConnell moment, such that even some of the party bigwigs handling him might have second thoughts about propping him up for re-nomination.

@on the cusp you aren't assuming they went to that magical island bc you assume that plane only had one destination for all trips? Did JE take people other places, for more innocent trips? Apparently so.

According to Kennedy, it was his ex, Mary Richardson, who was acquainted with Ghislaine Maxwell and arranged for 2 flights, one to SD for a fossil hunting trip, which JE did not participate in, and one trip w Kennedy's kids to visit their grandmother in FL. Neither trip was to the island. Both times there was very limited interaction between JE and Kennedy. On one trip, JE was so annoyed by Kennedy's rambunctious kids that he had the plane land in Chicago so he could get off.

Journalist Whitney Webb produced 2 books on JE, and did not find any notorious activity by RFK Jr. Kennedy in fact interviewed her for his podcast during her Epstein research, to talk about the curious Gates-Epstein relationship. If there was any there there, Kennedy out of guilt and fear of exposure would not have invited her on his podcast and if Webb had found anything noteworthy, she would not have gone on the podcast except to also closely question him about his Epstein flights. Instead, it was a friendly interview. I will go back to the original podcast to see if I've missed something.

As to media coverage, the MSM would absolutely love to report Epstein dirt on RFK Jr. Bill and Hill would be no impediment. But maybe they realize there is no evidence there apart from 2 unnoteworthy plane trips, and if they tried to stretch the facts to fit a desired underage girl storyline, they would face a major libel lawsuit.
