@jorogo @jorogo many moons ago. 49 years ago to be precise. We had camped overnight
at Devil's Lake without getting a permit so they had to lock us up. Those
were the days Wink

Unfortunately this is coming around again and that Rabbi can only
ask if they know who they're idolizing....sigh

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre labeled supporters of former President Donald Trump “an extremist threat to our democracy” at Wednesday’s press briefing.

The press secretary said “Make America Great Again” Republicans are an “extreme threat” with an agenda to take away rights from the American people. She said President Joe Biden will continue to spread this message about the former president and his supporters.

“The president thinks that there is an extremist threat to our democracy,” she said. “The president has been clear as he can be on that particular piece when we talk about our democracy, when we talk about our freedoms. The way that he sees the MAGA Republicans are the most energized part of the Republican Party. This is an extreme threat to our democracy, to our freedom, to our rights. They just don’t respect the rule of law.”

I am ready for the little break. I had a tough morning in court My evidence as not eye witness, the perp denied everything on the witness stand.. But, I got my motion for the judge to talk to the teen.
She described the physical altercation she had with 2 aunts and her dad in great detail in chambers, off record. Her own father bit her hand, and she will always have a scar. Her aunt knocked her down, she will always have a scar on her leg. Her Dad banged her head on a car hood, gave her a concussion. No telling what that portends. The kid said when she finished, the judge and his court coordinator were crying. My client got custody. Texas law does not favor grandparents. But on this day, one judge did.
After that horrible shit show, I gotta take a break, go run, and play, lotsa music, scenery, and a husband that distracts me from what happens every single day in my law office. Pure hell, actually. People with their shit together, a nice life, don't need lawyers for more than wills or deeds.

DUBAI, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Iran has sent a "constructive" response to U.S. proposals aimed at reviving Tehran's 2015 nuclear deal with world powers, Iran's Foreign Ministry said, prompting a less positive impression from the United States.

"The text that was sent (by Iran) has a constructive approach aimed at finalizing the negotiations," Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani was quoted as saying by state broadcaster IRIB on Friday.

But the U.S. State Department gave a different assessment.

"We can confirm that we have received Iran's response through the EU," a spokesperson said. "We are studying it and will respond through the EU, but unfortunately it is not constructive."

White House National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson said: "Some gaps have closed in recent weeks but others remain."
