Another Primary another one of those threads where I drone on about stupid things and post updates as the results come in.

If you want to hang out and kill some time and discuss the primary or whatever else tickles your fancy please pop on in!

Of 101 Dane County precincts reported, HRC has won TWO.

They are Maple Bluff and Shorewood Hills. These are uber-wealthy enclaves of Madison that exist largely as property tax havens. Both are located on Lake Mendota. Shorewood Hills is a literal enclave -- it is completely surrounded by the city and the university.
These are the figures on HRC's big victory therein:

V Maple Bluff 267 241
She's losing everywhere else in Dane County -- and the numbers still reflect only a couple dozen of Madison's 140ish wards.

If the Republicans won't let Trump win, and run Cruz, all the Trump supporters will vote for Clinton, because that's what always happens when people break from their party because it's too establishment, and they want to vote for whom they perceive to be a populist candidate. They cross lines and vote for the establishment candidate on the other side!

I don't think I am being all "Rah Rah Bernie!" either.

Think about it, it's looking like we are gonna possibly flip Nevada, They talk about Berners showing up for rallies but not to vote and look at Clark County as well as Northern Nevada around Washoe County (My old stomping grounds) and we are looking at 8 out of 9 wins.

That is frigging YUGE!!!!

And looking at what is going on in NY.

My friends in the City are telling me the Bern is huge!

Only other friend I have is in Northern NY, (Schenectady) and he said the rural voters in his area are also feeling the Bern! (Qualifier, he wouldn't say it was the majority, just that it felt "Really close". (He is also an independent that switched to D to vote for Sanders so he may be biased).

All things considered, I think its looking awesome C99Peeps!

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders constantly says that polls show he would be a stronger candidate in the general election than former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. But is that actually true? Politifact, the Pulitzer Prize-winning fact-checking operation, decided to find out.

Look at how illogical this is. Sanders is polling higher to beat Trump, but maybe the Republicans will kick Trump out even though he wins and this could be bad for Sanders! WTF does that even mean? Clinton might do better against a Republican candidate who actually lost the primary? Is this supposed to be high praise? We're going to suddenly vote for Clinton because she's running against a typical sucky Republican as opposed to a lunatic?

So if I am understanding this correctly

The argument is that if the Republicans jettison the results of their own primary and run Cruz, then Clinton will pick up the Trump voters. So don't run Sanders, because he's a loser.

Had some major Internet issues the past several days -- seem to be worked out now. Was able to do some quick reading from my phone but not post. Hope all are well this evening with what looks like another Sanders win. I don't see how the Dem Party and the traditional media can ignore the momentum outside of the South.

I was worried I couldn't keep my resolve to not visit that place whose owner openly mocks us. I feel the live blog was the test. Even tho at one point this site was overwhelmed, the folks who linkyied to the guardian site helped me to maintain my resolve.

the reddit subthread also had a live thread going and it moved

fast (reddit has no capacity problems I can spot). Lots of familiar names there as well as here. It's an activist haven set up quickly by mahakali overdrive when kos announced his 15 March edict: https://www.reddit.com/r/Kossacks_for_Sanders/

I switched back and forth tonight between there and here and didn't miss "that" place at all.

So glad you joined us! I think you will like it here.

A much friendlier and more tolerant of differing beliefs then the GOS.
I even had a fellow sanders supporter over there call me out for not giving a loyalty pledge to her royal lowness if Sanders doesn't win the nom....

Anyway, enough about there, more about here! I hope you hang out and take part, we are having our growing pains, but it's only gonna get better!
