Just pure joy for dawgs. My springer, Bo used to be like that when she saw the puddles at the golf course in winter. She would notice them as we drove by and she couldn’t get out of the car fast enough. I’ve posted her photos before?

Sam. And she’s getting big fast. Twice the size of when I brought her home. Loves to play with every darn thing in the house besides her toys. Got her claws done and I tied string or old headphone wires to her toys to keep my hands away from the mouth. Her other name is jaws. She loves going on walks and wanted badly to jump in the stream today. It’s in the 30's here.

The furnace wiring caught fire in a closet here at home, but the damage was contained, only needed to be re-wired and a part replaced. No injuries, no damage, but I did order a new heat pump system to be installed next Wednesday.
90 year old wiring took down my office, 30 year old wiring almost got my house.
I can only imagine the reaction my insurance co. would have had if I filed a claim 6 months after the last claim.
Shit happens. Other than that, the first day of the new year was one of good luck, and good wishes from lots of friends.
And, good music, thanks to you!
The plan is to have a snifter of brandy, make a toast to you.
That second snifter will be a heartfelt, possibly slurry, toast to the fabulous people that contribute their ideas, hearts, minds, and occasionally financially, to this site.

Sitting here happily stuffed with cornbread, black eyed peas and sauteed cabbage. Nice tunes to enjoy as I relax.

I guess after Onthecusp story of the wiring, this needs to be one of my too priorities for my old place. Was already on list.

Now hoping for changes to come our way(positive) of course.
