Album of the Week 2-22-25
Afternoon folks!
It's a blue, blue week. Starting off we have an album from harmonica ace Little Sonny, followed by a double album delta blues compilation of Charley Patton recordings from the days of noisy 78's - there are a couple of cuts that were blocked by some German company that bought up the rights to a couple of 90+ year old tunes that should by all rights be in the public domain but for our bought-off, coin-op congress. After that there's an album of Chicago blues from multi-instrumentalist Maurice John Vaughn and a Robert Cray album. Following that we've got some John Hammond and we finish up with some reggae from Bob Marley.
Enjoy the tunes and have a great weekend!

glad you dug the tunes. i'm pretty sure that's my favorite robert cray album, perhaps because it's the most traditional bluesy album of his. i think you'll like mj vaughn, it's good stuff.
have a good one!
