The white Queen infamously told Alice "The rule is, jam to-morrow and jam yesterday – but never jam to-day."
So here's a Jam from yestidday.
An interesting mostly spur of the moment assemblage of folks Jamming at Armadillo World Headquarters, Austin, TX on Thanksgiving day 1872. The band:
Doug Sahm - vocals, guitar
Leon Russell - vocals, piano
Jerry Garcia - vocals, guitar, pedal steel
Phil Lesh - bass
* Jerry Barnett - drums (Shiva's Headband)
Mary Egan - fiddle (Greazy Wheels)
Benny Thurman - fiddle (13th Floor Elevator bassist)

Good jam man
didn't realize these guys were making jams back in the 1800's, well preserved
question everything
I'll say!
Very well preserved, especially considering they probably were only using water bath methods back then.
;-
It ll started when they piled into a Buick Century Wagon and
floored it in reverse.
be well and have a good one.

Heh. Few people know that Austin really rocked in the
1870s. They were also way ahead of their time and used steampunk tech to make awesome audio+visual rekkids, yawl.
Good to see ya.

Arrived in Austin four years later. Armadillo World Headquarters was such a great music scene! Glad did not miss it!

I think this qualifies as a jam. Thanks for the great music.
Vienne is a town/large village South of Macon, on the Saône River. It has a fabulous outdoor amphitheater - Roman and a small temple.
This guy really has lots of energy. It is Funk. the French crowd had some problems warming up to Bootsy as they are used to a much lower key pop style.
