Trump makes corruption great again: part 3
Summarizing Trump's executive orders so far:
1. Trump fired most of the inspector generals.
2. Trump revoked Biden's rules against accepting gifts from lobbyists
3. Trump revoked Biden's rule against the "revolving door"
4. Trump replaced civil service classification with political appointees.
5. Trump revoked Biden's order that would allow Medicare to negotiate lower prices with Big Pharma.
SEC:
Lawyers at the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) have been told they need to seek permission from the politically appointed leadership before formally launching probes, two sources briefed on the matter said, in a marked change in procedure that could slow down investigations.
The change, which has not been previously reported, was made under new leadership at the SEC since President Donald Trump took office, the sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity as the move has not been made public.
CFPB:
(Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who took over on Monday as President Donald Trump's new acting consumer finance watchdog, has halted virtually all pending activities at the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, including investigations, rule making, litigation and public communications, according to an email seen by Reuters.
The Day One decision from Bessent signaled an abrupt change in policy under Trump, who campaigned on a realignment of government regulation to promote the needs of industry.
Now occupying both Treasury and CFPB leadership roles, Bessent replaces former CFPB Director Rohit Chopra, who revealed on Saturday that he had been fired and who had pursued aggressive enforcement and regulation under the prior administration.

I can believe it
This is what the deplorables voted for!
A casino economic system.
Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.
After the 2000 election
Someone asked Karl Rove what he saw for the goals of the republican party, and Rove replied "A permanent republican majority". When Gore rolled over the democratic party became the doormat party, while the republicans just relentlessly kept fighting. That's the only thing I can admire about republicans. When the dems were in power they.....fuck it, we all lived it. That's why the dems deserve our contempt. Right now the dems are having a sad about losing the election, and how they're going to win next time. They've already lost because they can't think outside the box they built, and most of us, we're outside that box, and all that mealy mouthed blah blah won't help them.
Whatever ideas democrats need to come up with
is stored in the room where they keep their dry powder.
Democrats think that all they need to start winning elections is just better messaging. They first blamed the message after the Hellabitch lost before they decided to blame Russia instead. Shitlibs constantly go on and on about what message will get people to vote for democrats.
A better message isn’t what people want. It’s for democrats to start putting the working class before the parasite class.
Scientists are concerned that conspiracy theories may die out if they keep coming true at the current alarming rate.
I dunno, Snoop
I wouldn't put it past Trump to keep provoking the DEI dems until there are demonstrations, say this spring, where the police will play hard ball and violence will break out. Which will call for a larger demonstration and more violence. Then Trump will label it an insurrection, and ultimately with AI facial recognition and the US surveillance network call for mass prosecutions, then revoke the right to vote for those successfully convicted. The Supreme court will back the republicans and that will be that. I don't think there are any democrats that wouldn't roll over.
