Goodbye, for now

Too many here don't understand the distinction between reality and Reality. So, maybe when this is all over I will come back to see who is still around, and if anyone cares to talk:

I guess I don't know why you're leaving but it's your choice.

We are all going to be affected by this virus, whether we catch it or not - someone we know will have it, so we will be affected.

Understand, too, that we are going through a societal change that can only happen with a pandemic. Mother Nature is doing a correction since earthquakes, tornadoes, and hurricanes have had no effect on our behavior. We are going through a collective rite of passage where every person must face their deepest fears. We must journey into ourselves.

I've mentioned the shift in consciousness which began in 2012. Here we are, 7.5 years later, and this shift has taken on real meaning. We cannot get to another level of consciousness going through life in a trance, which is what the world has been doing. We are in a trance over war, which we cannot bring ourselves to stop. We are in a trance over consumerism, which many cannot stop themselves from buying the next shiny new object (think of those fools sleeping on the street for an iPhone - insanity). We are in a trance over oil, which means we cannot buy hybrid cars (I don't have one) and we fly everywhere because we are a hedonistic society.

Our values are shifting. Lots of things are being exposed. The way we engage in value exchange, the way we talk about societal structure, the things that are important to us that were always there (trains, airplanes, our jobs, etc.), has shifted. Our reality will be reshaped and how we define ourselves. It's a completely new pattern.

Right now, we are witnessing the oppression, the structure of our society, the collective through this we exist by and agree to unconsciously is all being exposed, all of it is coming to the surface, and all of the fabric, the structure of everything, like an earthquake, is bringing instability, and that uncertainty permeates into our awareness as fear or stress. Come back to your center.

A revolution is coming.

There is no reality right now because it's all changing at warp speed.

I have extended family members in medical profession. I'm not sure if they are involved in helping at this point. I suspect one may have been, or will be drafted, if it is all hands on deck where he is.

We see problems acutely. But that's why we see them first and can write about them. We can't expect everyone in a progressive community will agree with us, or see what seems to be obvious to us. I like what you write and your analysis. I saw very many really talented writers leave Daily KOS on a regular basis. In fact I would say that was the rule. But KOS is run by a self aggrandizing, dictatorial egomaniac who chases away his best members of his community. I don't see that here at all. I would like to see you stay and contribute. Please!

Capitalism has always been the rule of the people by the oligarchs. You only have two choices, eliminate them or restrict their power.

Reality....I actually have no idea what that is sometimes. But I do understand that it does not yield to my wishful thinking or my denial. No mercy. No quarter given.

Thanking all those doing their best in an impossible situation. Heroes all.

theoretically it's to show support for those on the front line of this thing: the grocery store workers, the medical people, the postman.

But one thing it is, for sure, is a show of solidarity with the people on our block. We're supporting the front line but we're also thanking each other for hanging in there.

There are a few places on the Internet that are part of what I feel is my community. Like the Caucus. PriceRip, we'll be here whenever you get back.
