And boy did he.
I actually watched the debate. Bernie is done. He's just too nice to be president.
He had numorous chances to call joe out on his lies and passed on almost all of them.
I'm very happy I didn't donate to his campaign this year. He is a sheepdog who will make every attempt to coerce his followers to vote blech no matter who.
Not I.

Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.

of Bernie over the past week. The disappointment isn't as big a shock. I don't like him losing. But I am absolutely disgusted that he won't call out the cheating, lying, and election fraud.

And there is nothing that could get me to vote for Biden.

The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

Re thumb work: That's an old trick knuck taught me, reduce the opacity of the nunchuck layer to the point where it makes it easy to see exactly what needs to be erased.

I think it's the worst discussions of a couple's divorce arguements in front of their attorneys in court.

Joe Biden is talking way too much. Sanders is amazingly restrained in his verbal responses.

1. Shut this president down now.
2. Joe Biden talk less and lie less. For me you are unacceptable.
3. Bernie is not toast and just needs to fight on.
4. The media will not help us, despite the best efforts. I am glad though that I can watch the live stream of the debate.

Do not worry about how much it costs. If you can't stand listening anymore, stop listening.
I would say.

The virus is winning.
Monopoly, don't go to JoeBiden.com. May a u-turn or go to prison immediately.Haven't payed Monopoly for decades.
The most often used terms by Biden is 'Period' and 'Go to the webpage 'JoeBiden.com'. I say make a u-turn. Go to prison.

ok, cant listen anymore. Just pray it's over soon.

Idolizing a politician is like believing the stripper really likes you.

of it I watched, I was surprised to see Biden not showing much of the cognitive decline. Kinda, wow -- where has this coherent Biden been? If he continues this way, he might make it not only to the convention but to November.

Joe also probably scored points by pledging to name a woman for the VP slot. I realize to some that is IdPol, but if so, Bernie was playing that angle too. And the DP is made up of various oppressed groups that have looked to it for relief and representation, making it difficult not to seem to cater or pander. Anyway, VP is one good way of accomplishing acknowledgment of these various groups.

I don't have a clear idea who he would select, though Liz might be on his short list.

Otherwise, I doubt many apart from the real political junkies watched or cares much about this one, given how C19 and the economy are overwhelming the news cycles.

@Marie Biden is like most pols, only he lies 5x as much. If there was a law against such blatant mendacity, Joe would be serving a life sentence.

But at this unusual time, it is all lost in the ether. Few listen, even fewer care.

It's nice that KB makes a number of accurate points, and I realize she is paid to put out a show, but she is missing the larger picture. The criticisms amount at this time to mere academic scoring of debating points and half points that will have zero impact on what's left of the race, which is already over unless Joe does something spectacular in the cognitive decline area. Which didn't happen last night.

This one clearly is now Biden's to lose, and only in the above way. Bernie can do nothing on substantive issues to change things, as this is a cycle where issues matter less. The Restoration of Normalcy offering of Biden is winning out big over Bernie's Revolution. Biden can just phone in the rest of the campaign.

@wokkamile
ever mattered to voters or matter less today than in the past? I'd like to say yes to both questions, but that's probably incorrect. In the past character did come into play when the MSM highlighted it for a politician; a politician that media folks wanted to get rid of. 1987 illustrated that, but at the same time the MSM had by then been covering up Reagan's dementia for at least five years.

Gary Hart

...
Hart officially declared his candidacy on April 13, 1987.
...
On May 8, 1987, a week after the story broke, Hart suspended his campaign after The Washington Post threatened to run a story about a woman Hart had dated while separated from his wife...
...
In December 1987, Hart returned to the race, declaring on the steps of New Hampshire Statehouse, "Let's let the people decide!"
...
...After the Super Tuesday contests on March 8, in which he won no more than 5 percent of the vote, Hart withdrew from the campaign a second time....

Joe Biden

...
Biden was initially considered one of the potentially strongest candidates as campaigning began in 1987.[6] This was because of his moderate image, his speaking ability on the stump (rated second only to that of Jesse Jackson), his appeal to Baby Boomers, his high-profile position as chair of the Senate Judiciary committee, ... and his fundraising appeal—his $1.7 million raised in the first quarter of 1987 was more than any other candidate.[7][8] By the end of April he had raised $2 million, using not just contributions from Delaware but also establishing a base of support among young professionals and Jewish voters in a number of urban- and suburban-oriented states.[9] He had no campaign debt, and Fortune magazine termed his "most impressive start" a "surprise".
...
[documented multiple instances of plagiarism, including a law school paper]

Biden withdrew from the nomination race on September 23, 1987, saying his candidacy had been overrun by "the exaggerated shadow" of his past mistakes.[41] His formal campaign had lasted only three and a half months.

Mistakes or character? In Biden's case it's both. Neither of which seem to matter anymore to voters within each party as both sides continue to direct their "OMGs" and point their fingers at those on the other side to less and less effect. Hence, the flop over Trump's two divorces and extra-marital affairs.
