It was a barn burner.

Columbia Township, Brooklyn, Michigan.
6:30 pm.
I was one of 3 (three) people at the polling place. Yeah. We're rural but not boonies.
Asked those who were there about attendance and was told it was very low.
Had the absolutely wonderful display by another attendee telling her young children who were with her.......
"We always vote republican."
Democracy at it's finest.

We early voted here in Georgia. I was hoping it would
bleed into other states.

Turnout burnout
I’ll be interested to see how bad the turnout was, when the dust settles. Seems like a perfect storm of Joementum and pandemic panic to really depress turnout.
Idolizing a politician is like believing the stripper really likes you.
I don't believe
that the virus kept people away.
This is a heavily republican area and no republican worries about who will be on the ballot in Novemeber.
I can also say without a doubt that they will be out in force come the presidential election.
Even with an economic downturn, they will support trump steadfastly.
Most of the progressives such as myself in this area, have given up on the democratic party.
What's to vote for? Not trump?
Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.
My husband, bless his heart, thinks that people will
turn on Trump if the economy is bad. He fails to see the fanaticism these people have which is just like the fanaticism for Biden/vote blue no matter who.

It's identical.

If there's one thing
And you don't need a majority to switch or not vote for Him. Just enough will do, and he will be toast.
You’d think so, but my crazy neighbors are
fanatically loyal. They love how Trump taunts liberals and makes them sad. And I don’t think they’ll blame him for the economy. He’ll make excuses and his fans (short for fanatic—remember?) will eat it up!

Well...
If you are in the right part of Michigan you could vote for Justin Amash...
Someone on DK once opined something along the lines
of any given Democrat in Congress was smarter than any Republican there.
So I suggested Amash versus Hank Johnson and that was the last I heard from them.
Now you know why America is called "exceptional"
Not really.
I'm still confused by that exceptional thingy.
Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.
I was being snarky
I gather they were attending a Democrat polling place....
Regardless
I'm still confused about both parties and many americans calling this nation exceptional.
But yeah, it was and will always be a republican stronghold.
At least they voted to legalize marijuana. I'd be willing to bet trump does it soon nationally.

It's looking like Bernie has lost
Michigan, Missouri and Mississippi all have ByeDone leading the polls. But it's what happens when people can't vote. Long lines. Machines that don't work. People kicked off the voting rolls. Lots of other problems. So what can Bernie do?
lol look at the tag Twitter put on this.
This was not edited. But of course people will believe it was.
Call them out.
This shit is bananas.
Third party or just stay home
Either one sends a message to democrats that the time for them to take people for granted is over. There is no way in hell I will ever believe that Biden beat Bernie. Never. Not when he never opened an office in the Super Tuesday states or in the ones he's winning tonight. Never. Going. To. Happen.
And just go ahead and do this. Seriously just cancel the rest of the primary because we know that you would just put people through the sham of voting. 3-4 hour lines again and lots of other problems that haven't happened on this scale ever.
The only good news from tonight is that people can start believing that democracy is dead here. The desperation I witnessed during the primary was huge. But the democrats turned a blind eye to it. Again.
Thanks Obama.
He had his chance after 2016.
I now consider him a democrat.
He wont go against the dnc.
Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.
Oh I agree with you on this
I'm curious to see what Bernie will do besides campaigning for Biden.
But we're off the hook for having Bernie tell us we should vote for Joe. Kos admitted that Warren has no power to make her supporters vote for Bernie. My how things change when it's against the candidate you hate. I'm still seeing people blaming Hillary's supporters for not voting for her. Even though most did.
Ya think?
sorry if I've posted this already. Bad hair day.
Here's one voting place
Looks like the manipulated video tag doesn't show when embedded. I just saw it on two other videos of Joe speaking. Just more evidence of rigging.
I find it fascinating
that an old guy gets all the crowds and small donors...
And yet, another old guy, with cognitive issues, gets the votes with nary an effort. Literally.
Tribal Democrats are just as stupid as tribal Republicans.
Gëzuar!!
from a reasonably stable genius.
Black box "voting" is not voting.
It's wishful thinking. Our All-Powerful Overlords rig the boxes so that no matter what goes in, only the results they want come out.
Ballot box gone, soapbox gone, jury box gone....
There will be blood.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
Well, not really any lamer
than DK saying they are all about electing Democrats, period.
I'm old enough to have experienced school when they still had Civics classes - wherein we were told we had a responsibility to vote for the best person to do the job.
Indoctrinated me so effectively I still try to do that.
