Tulsi News--Hillary Uses Secret Service to Deny Being Served

Remember that $50 million defamation lawsuit that Tulsi filed against Hillary Clinton last week?

Well, it seems Hillary isn't allowing herself to be served with the paperwork for the lawsuit, using her Secret Service contingent to shield her:

Washington Examiner

Now, this isn't as effective as you might think. Usually, someone who brings a lawsuit can place a classified ad in the local paper of record announcing the suit and then get things rolling, even if the defendant refuses to be served. But still--pretty damn amazing and further display of abuse of power on Hillary Clinton's part.

If Hillary refuses to defend herself in the trial, Tulsi has a much better chance of winning. If you think about it, that $50 million might make a *very* nice financial basis for a presidential run in 2024 or2028!!!

Also, Ruptly came out with some additional footage of Tulsi snowboarding--different from the footage shot earlier. It's kinda cool seeing a candidate going down the slopes!

The Clintons are above the law. They're so special that activities like legal service that apply to us ordinary peons don't apply to them.

Brian Dunne, Gabbard’s attorney, told the New York Post that the person trying to serve the lawsuit was first turned away from Clinton’s home in Chappaqua, New York, by Secret Service agents and told to serve the lawsuit to the former first lady’s attorney, David Kendall. Williams & Connolly, the Washington, D.C.-based law firm that employs Kendall, then told the server that they could not accept the lawsuit on Clinton’s behalf.

“I find it rather unbelievable that Hillary Clinton is so intimidated by Tulsi Gabbard that she won’t accept service of process,” Dunne said. “But I guess here we are.”

And why the hell does Patrick Duvall get to be on CNN when he is at 2%, but Tulsi at 8% does not? This is not democracy this is censorship of the democratic process.

Hmm does that lifetime of loss include the two times he ran for president, but had to drop out because of plagiarism?

lol...

Why? Did he beat an older, more “sedentary” man in a push-up contest, or something?

If the server simply dropped the subpoena in front the Secret Service, it will be considered as served. Looks like no way for Hillary to reject subpoena even if not served directly.

@MrWebster not a subpoena.
I think her lawyers might move the court to allow them to serve her with citation by publication, using a newspaper in her area, that would be likely to be read by her, and be sufficient notice that she was being sued.
I would dearly love to see the citation appear in the new York Times.

But for picking a publication, it would be even easier with Sarah "I read lots of newspapers...all of them" Palin.

The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

Can she be part of this?

The ruling classes need an extra party to make the rest of us feel as if we participate in democracy. That's what the Democrats are for. They make the US more durable than the Soviet Union was.

I always thought someone trying to avoid being served legal papers was just a trope of old movies.

"Nobody is above the law."

She is getting lots of responses of "then why aren't you accepting Tulsi's subpoena?"

Lmao..oh Hills the gift that keeps on....

@snoopydawg If that is the case, her lawyers should contact Tulsi's, work things out, get it rockin' and rollin'.
All HER lawyers have to do is just get the lawsuit in hand, file an answer, and all this bs about service of process is over.
Legally, this is easy to handle.
But the perception of the public will never go away.

Tulsi Gabbard’s $50M lawsuit against Hillary Clinton moving forward after Clinton’s lawyer accepts legal docs, attorney says

@OzoneTom

“Today, after the media picked up this story, Ms. Clinton’s lawyer changed course and agreed to accept service,” Dunne told Fox News in a statement. “We would have preferred that Ms. Clinton just accept federal judicial process in the first instance, without having to be called out by the press, but in any event, Tulsi Gabbard’s lawsuit against her will now be moving forward.”
