MSM says Bernie is finished
It's like something from Joseph Heller's Catch-22.
Facts no longer matter.
Bernie is winning/has been winning in every single poll against Trump for at least a month.
Yet the national news media is bending over backwards to convince you that the Sanders campaign is kaput/washed-up/expired.
Meanwhile, the NY Times coverage of Bernie has been exposed.
Boing Boing reports that Sydney Ember, a New York Times reporter the focuses on covering Bernie Sanders, primarily sources corporate lobbyists, war criminals, and far-right figures to discredit the presidential nominee. Not only that, Ember’s coverage, which FAIR revealed is consistently negative, does not disclose her connections to the finance world and even undergoes “stealth edits” to tilt the coverage’s slant in the negative direction.Ember reportedly began working for the Times after a position as an analyst at the hedge fund and coal-booster Blackrock. She is also married to Mike Bechek, son of the former CEO of Bain & Company, where he used to work.
Of the corporate figures Ember quotes are: Jim Kessler, executive vice president for Policy at Third Way, a think-tank made mostly of bankers, CEOs, and corporate lawyers that push for cutting Social Security and Medicare and seek to prevent higher taxes for billionaires; Jarrod Loadholt, called “a Democratic strategist” according to Ember but more specifically a consumer finance lobbyist that supported a bill that enables banks to practice racial discrimination; and Tracy Sefl, referred to by Ember as “a veteran Democratic strategist” but more specifically a former senior advisor for Hillary Clinton who has worked with the right-wing news aggregator The Drudge Report. Sefl was also “a hired gun at a Republican-led firm Navigators Global.”
Has anyone ever seen something like this before? I never have.

On the other hand...

Well yeh
but a hot pastrami on rye has a very convincing lunch policy that the man on the street can really get behind.

Ham and Swiss
is only leading Trump nationwide by 15 points, and is within margin of error in the rust belt, where hoagies are leading Trump by 11 points.
Maybe it's time to float a pastrami/hoagie unity ticket?

Gyro's a long-shot candidate with small pockets of eager support across the country. Despite being refreshingly different from most of the others, and a well-seasoned politician, talking heads are insisting his campaign is DOA just because they don't think voters will be able to pronounce his name.

@thanatokephaloides Sounds like something
Acually, I heard on the radio
That Trump's popularity is at 60%. That may be bogus, but I hear fewer and fewer complaints about him as his antics become familiar and the stock market and employment numbers stay high.
The person I hear nothing good about is Biden. i.e. "What did he ever do?" "Wasn't he Obama's token white?" "Who?"
I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.
Bernie Sanders can't beat Trump but Joe Biden can turn it around
ROTFLMAO! The only thing Biden can turn around is a sleeping woman.

Yeah! I think that this attempted derail of Bernie and Tulsi will prove to be this to the MSM:

Well
the fake "progressives" that are the gatekeepers who are ironically protecting Trump from facing an opponent who is actually different from him are the actual hardest obstacle. It's not actually anyone but Trump but rather any neoliberal corporatist, they want the gravy train to keep going so would grudgingly prefer Trump over Bernie Sanders or Tulsi Gabbard.
I will answer your question directly.
No. I have never seen anything this blatant.
This is Opposite Day every day.
My fear is that the establishment determination to hold on to the revenue involved will lead us to ever darker spaces.

The MSM
Looking at those headlines, it's obvious the MSM are biased against real Progressives, like Bernie Sanders. I just don't think the average person pays much attention to these people and this is why they have to scream louder and louder. The MSM have lost a lot of credibility since Bush II/Cheney and by the time of the 2016 Presidential campaign, they looked "old & tired". Right now CNN's Chris Cuomo is interviewing Jo & Jill Biden. Biden looks "old & tired", just like CNN. But who's listening? Not me, because I have it on MUTE and I bet I'm not alone.
Speaking of ByeDone...
Did you see his apology? Not too long ago he said that he would never apologize for what he did in the past. He started out sincere, but....
What's the saying? Everything that comes before the but gets wiped out when you say it. lol.

Half-apology
The complaint media have learned their lesson early
Bernie was a surprise in 2016 because he was just not on th proverbial radar. He is now months before the first primary. These headlines look tame to what I expect.
The media was surprised
Out of sight, out of mind
Can anyone remember way back in 2016? Seems like this is a replay of DNC convention anti-Bernie rhetoric.
In 2016 Bernie was a long-shot for all but a month or two
In 2019 Bernie has either been the leader or in 2nd place.
This is several times worse.
And the beat goes on.
I briefly watched MSNBC tonight, and they were positively gushing over how much money Warren raised. They acted like Bernie had never existed, that Warren was doing something unprecedented. At a different time, they were covering the Biden-Harris kerfluffle. So far as I know, the only other candidate who has chimed in on that is Tulsi. Guess they didn’t like what Tulsi said; they never mentioned her.
I’m also having a WTF moment with the polls. One poll had Sanders at 9%. For me, the pollsters have lost all credibility. (and why can’t at least ONE pollster do a ranked choice poll?)
Money talks
And all these stories focus on the money. You have to dig into learn that Sanders leads in individuals. He just has a smaller average donation.
I really wish the candidates had to report Gini coefficients as well as the other statistics. Bernie would clobber them all

Because their polling sample is limited to...
DNC Executive Committee members and their parents.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
Of course the PTB wants ByeDone - just in case
Joe Biden is a Collaborator
It won't matter if Trump or ByeDone wins because the results will be the same. A win for the oligarchs and a loss for the 99% just like it's been for a very long time. But for now Trump is trying to keep us out of new wars which ByeDone will be all too willing to get us into.

I don't think Biden is a collaborator
Why the quotes on the word "illegal"?
Do we have an immigration law or not? I'm not arguing the law's humanity, effectiveness or effect on society, just it's existence. It seems more legal than a string of dictatorial Executive Orders. Democrats lose the general pubic by pretending that laws don't exist. Why don't Democrats pass a law reforming immigration? Or returning to the old Open Door policy? There is no chance of it passing the Senate or Trump's veto pen, so why don't they do political theater and pass a bill instead of holding press conferences and playing word games like exchanging the word undocumented for illegal? My wife is undocumented. The spelling of her name on her birth certificate doesn't match any other document so she can't get a Real ID, although her family has been in Chicago (male line) since 1846. But some nurse spelled her name wrong and she becomes truly undocumented. The same thing happened to my daughter only I caught it as soon as it was issued and had it corrected in the legal time frame. I wanted to check it at the hospital but they refused, saying "only the mother is allowed to see this". i.e. only the woman, now drugged, who just went through the painful ordeal of her first childbirth is allowed to consider that the nurse may have transcribed the information wrong.
I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.
I didn't write the article
nor put the " " on the word illegal so if you have questions you will have to ask the author of that piece.
The democrats haven't been as lenient on immigration as people are saying. I have a link on my other device that I have been thinking of writing up. I didn't know much about what I learned in it.

The headline yesterday was that Bernie is on his way out
because Warren netted $19 million and he only got $18 in the last quarter. No analysis about number of donors or the sources because WHY LOOK INTO THAT?
"Without the right to offend, freedom of speech does not exist." Taslima Nasrin
According to MSNBC's data guy* - Warren's fundraising
($19 million) was triple what she raised last reporting period. That was what made it noteworthy. Not that it was one million more than Bernie raised the same period. (Since, he always raises a bunch of money.)

US Economy and US corporations, take a look at the Fortune 200, or a good list of the top 100-500 public multinationals, and you'll see Blackrock & Vanguard are MAJOR shareholders of the US Economy.
Freaked me out a few months ago. I knew about the power of hedge funds and other investment operations, but the scale of Blackrock & Vanguard's holdings are rather staggering. They make huge investment movers and shakers like JP Morgan, GS, BofA look like pikers.
