The Christian right is so convinced of their victimhood, regardless of the facts, that they must invent examples of how they are under siege. For example, on today's Breibart:

That was the title. If you dig down in the article you find an entirely different story.

Iraq's Cabinet formally declared Christmas to be a national holiday as the country's Christians celebrated the birth of Jesus amid tight security more than a year after Baghdad declared victory over ISIS who sought to eradicate all who did not follow the group's strict interpretation of Sunni Islam.

"We extend our warmest wishes to Christians in Iraq and around the world for a very happy and peaceful Christmas," the government said in a Tuesday morning tweet.

That seems a Hell of a lot more significant that what some no-name Imam says, right?
One Muslim nation > some nameless Imam.

Wait a sec. Muslims celebrating Christmas? I thought Muslims hated Christians.
Remember how it was "necessary" to pass more than a dozen anti-Sharia Law bills? Because that's a "real danger" in a nation that's 75% Christian. LOL.
Now you may think that Muslims celebrating Christmas is still against Islam, but you would be wrong. Here's the part that I didn't know.

You see, the thing is, Muslims love Jesus.

In fact, the Prophet Muhammad said: “The dearest person to me in friendship and in love, in this world and the next is Jesus, the son of Mary.”

It may come as a surprise to many to learn that Jesus is mentioned in the Quran over 100 times, while the Prophet Muhammad, by contrast, is mentioned just five times. Described as the best woman ever to have set foot on earth, there is a whole chapter in the Quran named “Mary” and she is the only woman mentioned by name in the holy book.

It’s not just that Muslims love Jesus – we believe him to be one of the greatest messengers of god. We believe in his miraculous birth. We believe that god gifted him with the ability to bring the dead back to life, heal the leper and bring sight back to the blind and, like Christians, we believe in his second coming back to this world.

Yes, Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet of Allah. They just don't believe he was the son of Allah. (Allah simply means "God")
I guess this shouldn't be surprising when you realize that the Islamic religion is built upon the Old Testament.

Analogous stories of wisdom and wit from the great prophets like Abraham, Moses, David and Noah are found in both traditions, as are descriptions of angels, the after-life and so much more.

I have to think that those both in the West and in the Muslim world that preach hatred against the other religions are either ignorant, or are heretics.
