At least these guys never give up. This was an open-and-shut case. They were caught stealing US government property, committing bank fraud, breaking into House members computers, etc. Caught red handed. I hope this scandal breaks wide open.
Judicial Watch Sues DOJ for Records of Investigations into the Awan Brothers, Congressional Democrat IT Scandal
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Justice Department for all records of communications relating to the investigation into former Democratic information technology (IT) staffers Abid Awan, Imran Awan, Jamal Awan and Hina R. Alvi (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:18-cv-02563)).
Imran Awan and his family were banned from the House computer network in February 2017 after the House’s top law enforcement officer wrote that Imran is “an ongoing and serious risk to the House of Representatives, possibly threatening the integrity of our information systems,” and that a server containing evidence had gone “missing.” The inspector general said server logs showed “unauthorized access” and procurement records were falsified.
Imran Awan was Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s top information technology aide. Most lawmakers fired Awan in February, but Wasserman Schultz kept him on until he was arrested in July, trying to board a flight for Pakistan.
Imran Awan was allowed a plea deal. He pleaded guilty to federal bank fraud but prosecutors found no evidence that Awan “violated federal law with respect to the House computer systems.”
The Judicial Watch lawsuit was filed after the FBI failed to respond adequately to two FOIA requests.

This is not just a scandal
it is the tip of an iceberg involving a vast bi-partisan conspiracy. Were it to “break open”, our corrupt two party system and the shadow government behind them would be exposed and chaos would ensue. Which is precisely why any DC judge (appointed by either Dems or Repubs) would never, ever, under any circumstances, allow this suit to prevail.
Better we focus on a strategy for the long term survival of our ecosystem, the collapse of which is already bearing down on us. This is something our elected officials have been ignoring for decades; a trend that shows no sign of changing. In comparison, political theatre seems a rather pointless distraction.

And @ovals49 . . . . I do also believe it is the tip of the iceberg. This is gut feeling, but I also believe there is big time collusion between republicans and corporate democrats. There were a bunch of popular progressives running in Texas and gut feeling is they got stolen "Bernie Style." Beto wasn't the only "power house" in the group. They seemingly were defeated by the religious right. Really???
I am totally into the idea that they are cooperatively funding geoengineering so we don't have to cut back on fossil fuels.

Geoengineering might be better than nothing, but then there’s the law of unintended consequences. Science and medicine seem to be largely trial-and-error enterprises.
My guess would be that a ”survivable Nuclear Winter” might also be an option under consideration. The umbrella effect of large amounts of particulate added to the atmosphere combined with a massive reduction in the human population would, perhaps, allow the survivors to enjoy using the remaining fossil fuel inventory while they continue to look for another planet to relocate to. What I am sure of is that most of us will not have the resources to survive. To the sociopaths and narcissists in power that would be seen as feature of the plan, not a bug.

IMO, the Awans were operating as a conduit, but I am not sure how they fit into the grand scheme as of yet. It is weird that DWS was far more protective of Imran Awan than she was concerned about information from some of the most sensitive committees in the House being stolen. There is a huge coverup going on here and I would not be surprised if you may be very close to the real truth behind it.
We already know that the oligarchy wants depopulation. It ties back into the Russia, Russia, Russia hysteria in trying to foment a nuclear war between the US and Russia. These people are psychopaths. And if DWS (corporacrats like her) thinks she is among the chosen, she is dead wrong.

the worst case scenario is that DWS is a Pakistani spy and a triple murderer (Two federal prosecutors and Seth Rich) who stole more than 3 elections, including one from Rick Scott in Florida. If that gets any coverage, say a partisan Scott judge letting the state claims go, it will be considered impossible to sweep it under the rug, because only Democrats (and the "Democrat FBI") look dirty.

Here we have lots of evidence that the Awans broke many laws and yet they were only found guilty of bank fraud. Seriously? Foreign actors having total access to our government's computers and stealing information from them and they are charged with bank fraud? Give me a break. And then Mueller spends how many months investigating Russian internet ads agencies? Rumors are that he dropped the charges against the one whose lawyers showed up to defend. Run Bobby run.
