Former CIA chief James Woolsey appeared on Fox News to push the narrative of how dastardly 'dem Russkies' are in their meddling with the sacred soul of America's democracy.
Woolsey did his patriotic deep-state-duty and proclaimed the evils of "expansionist Russia" and dropped 'facts' like "Russia has a larger cyber-army than its standing army," before he moved on to China and its existential threats.
"Have we ever tried to meddle in other countries' elections?"
Oh probably... but it was for the good of the system..."
To which Ingraham follows up...
"We don't do that now though? We don't mess around in other people's elections?"
Prompting this extraordinary sentence from a former CIA chief...

Unlike the Russian "trolls", the CIA is consistent in who
they back in foreign nations. They help to put in power only those who are amenable to American financial, industrial and military hegemony. They also don't fuck around spending a few $100,000. These guys are big spenders. Ten, twenty million is chump change. If the prize is big enough, like Ukraine, they are willing to throw five billion into the game.
The damn Russians were stupid. They supported candidates from the entire US political spectrum at one time or another. In fact they behaved just like an average US citizen in the last election. If it wasn't for their Ruski names and addies, they could have invisibly blended into the American landscape and no one would have any the wiser.

I can name more than 13 people just from here who opposed Hills and said so in social media. In a country with 130 million voters it is sad/amusing to think 13 people swung the election.
And still nobody in the "mainstream" press talks about how Hills lost the electoral college by misallocating her time, i.e. campaigning in questionable states (which she lost anyway) instead of likely winning states (which she lost because they were ignored).
Somehow I'm sure it's my fault, though.
